GREATER GOOD is an original superhero roleplay set in an alternate version of reality where superheroes are all the rage. The Initiative for Greater Good controls the heroes, making them the most powerful organization in the world. Is it true then that absolute power corrupts absolutely? Who knows. Let's find out. GREATER GOOD takes inspiration from Marvel, DC Comics, Overwatch, Tiger & Bunny, One Punch Man, and roughly anything ever with superheroes.

A bustling port city in New Jersey, Kingsport is blessed with wealth and history since its founding in colonial America. In the past, it was known for museums, shopping, and business, but now it's best known as the home of the Initiative for the Greater Good. Heroes are always coming and going with their work, and their fame draws villains up for a challenge.

A quiet town in Louisiana, once a city, now little more than antiquated buildings, dusty streets, and echoes of the past. A hundred years ago, Lafayette was a vibrant crossroads, filled with music, dance, culture, and--if rumors are to be believed--magic. Recently, the Initiative chose Lafayette for its second base. Perhaps heroes can revitalize the town.

All regions of the United States has been plagued by villains of all sorts, requiring superheroes to step up to the plate. Accordingly, the Initiative has operation centers spread throughout the entire country, making even the furthest backwater within reach of their protection. Vigilantes have a harder time responding to threats so far away, but where there's a will, there's a way.

The planet Earth had its first hostile extraterrestrial encounter in 2008. After that, it's like everyone else was ready to take their shot at beating it down: aliens, monsters, magicians, otherworlders, a whole roadshow of freaks, and many more besides. There are superheroes all over the world now, and most of them are held accountable by the Initiative.

Space is not even the final frontier. Besides for galaxies far, far away, there's alternate universes, the past, the future, the aether, Hell and Heaven, and more than anyone has yet dreamed of. You've got to accept the reality: there is no final frontier. There will always be more out there, and what lies before us is limitless. And weird.
