as her fist connected with his mask, a jolt of electricity surged through her shoulder and into her body and she was unable to move for a moment. when she could once more she fell to her knees, the jolt leaves her weak.

when she looks up at him, his mask is gone for no more than seconds before he dashes for it, but she got a pretty good look.

damn, if he wasn't trying to kill her, zoya might think he's cute.

he tells her to run. and normally zoya would tell him to go fuck himself, but the arcs coming from his hand looked a lot more powerful than the one that hit her shoulder.

sure, she wasn't weak, but there's no way she could combat shit like this. she might be a lot of things -- overzealous is one -- but she sure as hell wasn't that stupid.

backing up on the ground she scrambled to her feet before turning and running. hopefully she'd never have to run into this asshole again.
