Yet it's not all work and no play, Gloucester is where salarymen go when contracts are signed, deals are closed, and a good day's work is done. There's drinking--a lot of drinking. There's also food, shops, clubs, gyms, and whatever else stressed out people might need. For others, Gloucester is one of the nicer shopping districts, less crowded during the day and with customer service.
