K-town was once a typical ethnic enclave for Korean immigrants. Now it has investors, people that want it to smell less like kimchi and look more like Gangnam--in fact, Little Gangnam is what the locals call it derisively when they can't afford to live there anymore. K-town's become a hotspot for young professionals, known for good food and culture despite the rampant gentrification.
