GREATER GOOD is an original superhero roleplay set in an alternate version of reality where superheroes are all the rage. The Initiative for Greater Good controls the heroes, making them the most powerful organization in the world. Is it true then that absolute power corrupts absolutely? Who knows. Let's find out. GREATER GOOD takes inspiration from Marvel, DC Comics, Overwatch, Tiger & Bunny, One Punch Man, and roughly anything ever with superheroes.

Suburbs
Plenty of people choose to live in the suburbs of Kingsport and commute for work. Madison and Franklin have working class communities. All three Vernons (East Vernon, West Vernon, North Vernon) are middle class and extremely diverse. Whitby is the new home of many K-towners. Ipswich is full of starving artists. Cambridge is a neighborhood of McMansions.

Miskatonic River
Various parks and reserves exist along the Miskatonic River. They're all suitable for hiking, camping, biking, rafting, and other outdoor activities. The closest one to Kingsport is Azalea Park, a pretty and leisurely park with hiking trails and picnic spots. Further out is sprawling Eddington Reserve, which is practically a forest that even allows rifle hunting during hunting season.

Atlantic Penitentiary
A state-of-the-art prison, Atlantic Penitentiary was built specifically to hold supervillains. Each prison cell is its own pocket dimension. The hallways are guarded by androids and monitored by an AI system. Sometimes, it's called the Hilton Penitentiary, because the pocket dimensions have more amenities than the average hotel. The prison is meant to be permanent, not unpleasant.

Y'ha-nthlei
An undersea city, Y'ha-nthlei joins the ranks of Atlantis, Lemuria, and other cities sunk deep into the ocean. Y'ha-nthlei is only a few hundred miles out from Kingsport. It has countermeasures against detection, and even other sea peoples can't find it easily. Among the underwater nations, it's known for its stratified caste system setting those with psionic powers apart and above from those that don't.
