Something big was going down around here. Or at least something will be going down around here. It was weird to say that to himself to say the least, but that was what he had heard a little while ago.
There has been a lot of talk about a unknown future event that will be taking place around here in Old Town in one week and by the sound of it that little event will be a bad one.
Normally he wouldn't bother with rumors and such, but by the looks of it the rumor seemed to be worth checking out to see if he can do anything before something bad happened.
Rakutsu ran the streets as a blur using his superspeed as yellow lighting trailed behind him. He ran up a building a stood on the roof to scout some of the area. He didn't have a fancy costume like most heroes. Instead, he had on blue jeans, a black hoodie with the hood up, and a red bandana. He painted a yellow lighting bolt symbol on the front of the hoodie that was inside a small yellow circle. Rakutsu was just starting out so he didn't have any material to make a costume at the moment.

Maria hadn't been in Old Town a lot, even though he would like to. It was more extravagant, and as you can tell, Maria likes looking rather extravagant. But well, for the time being he was here for one reason. A rumor.
Apparently, one week from today something was supposed to happen. He didn't know what and he was determined to find out.
Walking the street he felt a giant wave of wind brace him and a yellow flash. Ugh. He couldn't help but scoff a bit as he looked at the trail leading up to the top of the building. Look's like someone else was curious about the rumors. Maybe he had some information on it.
Maria turned the corner of a street and his normal outfit turned into a snowy white dress with a top hat on. His hair flowing behind him as he kicked off levitating into the sky as he floated around to the man on top of the building. "Hello there, dearie." Maria spoke softly with a polite smile. |

If something was gonna go down at anytime and anywhere then Old town would be a good place to have it. It wasn't really a surprise that it was gonna happen around here. This place is home to a lot of gang violence and activaties like drug dealing and shoot outs. Gang violence might not be the case, but no one really knows what's gonna happen soon. Checking the rumors on this disposable phone he got wasn't helping much either. He also wasn't seeing much from this scouting point. He was gonna have to look around a lot. Although something else was looking interesting right about now. That being a woman in a dress and hat floating next to him acting casual like it was a normal thing to do. He was thinking this person was a girl in his mind at least. His eyes widen for a minute before he spoke. "Uh..miss what are you doing up here?" He asked clearly confused by her presents. MARIA |

"Inquiring if your purpose is the same as mine," looking at the hooded figure. "Are you here about the rumors?" Maria pressed floating around him in a preying but non-threatening manner. "I believe introductions are in order, pardon my rudeness, I'm Maria." a smile on his face as he scanned the hooded boy.
"The rumors aren't helping Old Town considering it's unfortunate rep anyway," he muttered to himself but still fairly audible. He was wondering what this man was doing. Inquiring like this could be a bad idea but it's worth a shot to get more information on the recent sayings around here.
But after all, curiosity killed the cat. |

She was looking into the rumors as well? Could have fooled him considering that she didn't look like the investigating type. The same could be said for him since he didn't look very professional either. "Quick. What do you know about rumors?" He introduced himself by his alias and not his real name. He didn't know her considering that they just met a minute ago. So why would he tell her his real name. "I am here about them as well."MARIA |

"Ahhh, so I was correct, Quick," Maria said rather gleefully. "Sadly to say, nothing much. Tis why I was here to find more information on the rumors. But going off of what the local's are saying, something is supposed to happen here and that's a fact sadly." he sighed.
"But what? I cannot be sure, yet. So my dear, do you have any other information that could possibly give me any lead's or are you scouting?" Two pairs of eye's cover's more ground and it was originally what Maria planned on doing, and truth be told still did. But help would be appreciated. |

Well this wasn't good. This lady didn't know anything about the rumors either other then it will be happening around this area. So she must be scouting the area and investigating like him. This wasn't gonna be very fun. "Sorry, but I know just has much as you do. I was thinking we could trace the rumor to the source, but that probably won't be possible."MARIA |
