charlotte's ability is, in its essence, control over the living body itself: in herself and others she is able to immediately alter body chemistry on an atomic level with a touch. simple in theory, but it has near-limitless applications. she can trigger a massive endorphin flood, create glucose in muscle tissue to fuel an energy boost, or reconfigure one's blood into neurotoxin or alter body structure itself, with everything in between. all it takes is a moment of touch, and she could make you superhuman or kill you.

of course, to make molecules you have to know what they're made of - charlotte needs to have knowledge of the chemical structure of anything she's creating, as well as the atomic numbers and electron arrangements. this is little issue: she has a masters' and semi-complete doctoral degree in molecular biochemistry.



charlotte's power is easy to self-apply, and she is able to enhance herself on the fly to superhuman levels. she can boost the strength of her muscles, increase the flexibility of her tendons, enhance the density of her bones, spit poison - if only she puts her mind to it. she also has a formidable healing factor, capable of closing serious wounds and regenerating blood loss in seconds, or even regenerating fully lost limbs.



since charlotte can alter her own cell chemistry and thus generate bone and tissue on the fly, she can use her ability to alter her appearance right down to bone structure and temporarily become someone else entirely. she can alter her anatomy in more fanciful ways too, should she have a while to practice generating the form, and is known to be able to generate ultra-dense bone spikes for combat and wings capable of short-distance flight.
