Perhaps he doesn't help at first since it's Arkham and it's pretty damn sketchy to begin with, but things change once his conscience kicks in?

hello artemis is here sorry i have only 1 initiative hero and she's probably the prickliest of them all l m a o. i feel like artemis is midas' exact opposite? she doesn't care for human validation just bc she's 10k years old and also a loser a loner. i guess if he cares ab rank artemis is b but that's mostly bc re: she does't actually give a shit about looking good for the humans, she's here to find problems and eliminate them. i actually think it would be rly funny if they were working on a joint thing and artemis kept sniping the limelight while the tv crews were there (bc re: her assassination style is to take care of problems asap, fuck the cameras) and he confronted her ab it afterwards?? lemme know if yr interested in smth else MIDAS |

Imma go ahead and offer whatever plots you want, because what I'm after is for Neo to swipe knowledge of that super serum from him. Neo's a mutant with knowledge absorption that works by touch, and I'm looking to power her up a little since, uh, she kind of a weakling.
Currently, she's an active villain in Kingsport. She builds battle robots for funsies, and they can get pretty nasty, what with nukes and all. I can see typical hero vs villain plots, and fighting down battle bots should be within his power level and look good for the press. If the Initiative has finally tracked down her secret lair, maybe they could send Midas to try to capture her? She's easy pickings in person since she's just a skinny girl.

Also, I have Tina Berlitz! She's a multi-billionaire, former child actress, owner of an entertainment megacorp, and probably the Initiative's single biggest donor. She's capable of being a cutthroat businesswoman, but to heroes, she's super sweet, and she adores all of them. Like, seriously, she's a horrible enabler. Aldrich obviously doesn't need her money or support, but if you're looking for rich celebrities to hang out with, hi.
