Maria was pretty much becoming an alcoholic at this point. He went to the bar like almost every other week now it's honestly. Becoming a problem, he'll get help soon.....Tomorrow. But hey, live for the moment right now. Maria sat alone yawning a bit tired after the day ordering several whiskey shots like 3. Not too much, he didn't want to get completely drunk, yet. Drinking wasn't even very fun and some conversation wasn't very good for him right now as the bar was quite desolate. Plus the few people in here had company so it was rather lonely for a social person like him. He shrugged taking his 4 shot and trading it for some vodka.

Jason: Enter.
Here he was. Back at the bar. Again. The blond witch had long ago accepted his fate as an alcoholic, and by long ago, Jason meant a few months after rising from the underground. Sure, there was an ample supply of illegal booze being traded in the black markets of that sketchy place Jason called home for so many years, but he couldn't risk it. He had too much to learn, too much to study; he had no time to waste on any kind of pleasurable activity. That was the past though. Now, Jason was more powerful, more knowledgable, more... of age. He no longer needed to cast simple spells over bartenders to get a drink or produce enchanted ids to buy a six pack of beer, he could do all of it the mundane way.
Coming upon of the many bars found within the financial district of Kingsport, even a stock broker needed a drink every now and then, Jason entered and his eyes immediately began to flare up. Not physically of course, his enchanted sunglasses kept anyone from noticing, but he could feel it burning. Not only could he feel it, Jason could see what they were reacting to. A blonde girl sitting in a booth was blazing like a redneck bonfire on the Fourth of July. Tapping his glasses twice, the enchantment strengthening and allowing Jason to see something other than the energy produced by the blonde girl, he went over to her booth.
There were quite a few shot glasses littering the table in front of her, which meant she was either drunk or getting there. "I can see you've been busy. Mind if I sit?"

Maria felt a presence instantly as it came into the pub. It. Was. Strong. Even he could tell, another witch? He questioned to himself, but he felt it growing stronger with every step it took until. It was right next to him. " Hm?" he turned to look at the man requesting a seat next to him. He was a decent attractive man with blonde hair, he could feel his power emanating from this close to him. Looking the man up and down he nodded, "Go ahead," he said with a polite smile, " Could use the company." he gestured to the waiter. " Care for a drink? I can pay." it was the least he could do the for man as he sat down next to him fixing his loneliness for the time being, didn't cost much either so why not.

Jason: Sip.
"No thank you." Jason said as he sat down, something he had never done before in his life. The handsome witch was no stranger to strangers offering to buy him drinks, and while he always said yes, Jason had good reason not to this time. This particular stranger was an incredibly powerful magic user. Jason still had no clue as to who had got the ball rolling with his family's murder, but he knew it was a powerful magic user. So who's to say it wasn't the one before him? Maybe they'd poisoned his drink. Maybe they'd enchanted his drink? Maybe they'd curse his drink? Any outcome Jason foresaw with a drink didn't sound like a good one around this person until he got to know them better.
Instead of a shot the girl offered, Jason ordered a margarita from the bartender passing by. Nothing spells friendly like a margarita. Or at least it did in his book. A good looking young man with a frozen drink, who wouldn't want to have a drink with him! Taking a sip of the frozen cocktail, the witch asked, "So what has you drowning your sorrows with liquor? Feeling guilty?" That's why he did anyways.

Maria looked over at the man. Decently attractive still. Maybe it was beer goggles he didn't know. He asked a question to Maria, but not even they knew what to respond with. He just stood there silently until he looked over at the man. " Alcoholism." he said sighing. " Never been much of a drinker until recently, now I just can't stop which I can't say I don't mind." he sighed. " And you?" he said sitting up straight as he had to appear more presentable now, manners and all. You know, the gross stuff. " Manner's anyway, i've been seeming to forget them recently. I'm Lucatiel." he said with a smile. He could still feel his energy, rubbing his index finger under the table in a runic fashion as his energy silenced in a sudden flash hoping he didn't feel his energy, but seeing as how he didn't do it before, it was impossible to assume he didn't. " So I could assume the obvious?" he asked in relation to his energy, another witch. Seemed a lack of them sadly. He had no one to discuss the occult with. Hopefully he could give im a good fix.
