Everything had been planned a month ahead of time to make sure everything would be set up perfectly. Fliers, adds, and commercials were sent all across the world in order to advertise the rising star in the Electronic music genre. With this being Rika's first world tour and first actually concert not in her home country of Japan, first impressions was at the top of their priorities. From looking at the charts, it seemed that the name DJ Momoko had some sort of presence in the U.S., but a little less in the Kingsport area. Hopefully the fans would at least feel honored to hosting a DJ's first world tour at the Oricon center in Old Town. While everyone in the production studio was holding meetings about how the stage should be set, Rika was looking forward to perhaps meeting new people and perhaps seeing the wide variety of heroes that resided within Kingsport as well as everywhere else in the world. Who knows, maybe some of them were her fans or at least shared similar powers as her.
The days counted down and when the concert date was two weeks away, Rika had set foot in Kingsport. There really wasn't that much time to free roam all the cities and go shopping at the various malls due to the strict schedule that she was on. The producers were the only ones nervous, all they cared about was making a big profit from a large investment. When she wasn't at the arena helping on setting up, Rika spent a majority of her time at the hotel she was in deciding on what mixes she would play or trying to create a new mix. There was plenty of time to practice and all and with her powers, creating the music was the easy part.
The day of the concert had finally come, and boy Rika was nervous. More than she usually got at the beginning of her own raves back home. Despite all of this, Rika had a plan. For the longest time she had been deciding on what the audience would like to hear or at least want to hear. Not many would be familiar with her old album that was completely in her native language, so she decided to take English classes and had even gotten rid of her thick accent sounding more fluent as the days went on. Rika decided that she would showcase one or two of her old songs and play a majority of the new ones she spent days making.
Arriving at the center three hours before they would be letting people enter around seven and the main event starting at eight, Rika rushed into her dressing room to get ready as well go over a sound check to make sure all the equipment was working properly. Now peering through a small exit door in the back of the stadium, Rika was surprised of the outcome. The main floor had well over two hundred maybe three hundred people standing around the large circular stage that she would soon be standing on. There were even people still filing into the stands above the main floor, perhaps this was going to be a good night after all.

And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain
❧ Even with all of her knowledge and experience, there were still a few things about modern humanity that Bast didn’t quite understand. Take this thing called a ‘rave,’ for instance. From what she’d been able to determine, a rave was just a big dance party with lots of people and loud music. Her ignorance notwithstanding, when Bast heard about the rave going on down at the Oricon Center, she decided to try it out. Apparently someone who called herself DJ Momoko would be the main attraction for the event. Bast shook her head. Her knowledge of modern pop culture was woefully lacking since her return to Earth, so she had no idea who this young lady was. Well, perhaps going to this concert would help with that. The night of the event, Bast showed up at the Oricon Center shortly before admission at seven o’clock. She was somewhat dismayed by the crowds of people waiting to get in, because she’d been hoping to get a good place to dance near the stage. She sighed. Well, one could always hope. Finally, the time had come. Bast suddenly found herself being swept towards the entrance of the Oricon Center by the crowd. As she struggled to stay on her feet, she felt like she was drowning in a sea of humanity. The feeling only lasted for a short time, however, and Bast was able to rest again. She looked around the massive stadium, surprised by how many people had come. This DJ Momoko must be a pretty big deal, Bast realized, wondering how she hadn’t heard of the entertainer before. At least she’d been able to find a spot close up to the stage, where she could get a good look at the DJ while she danced to her heart’s content.
