(So I forgot that Apollo posts before I do, but Katya gave me her blessing to go ahead.)
She hates Gaea and Hades in equal measures. The two doddering fools would stand around and wax poetic as if everything were a chess game instead of a struggle for survival. These two are not threatened, and Artemis hates them for it.
She is not a child of Olympus (except for when she has to be), never a child of Zeus (except when she is forced to be), never a child of the earth (except when she chooses to be).
Her brother knows all things. He had watched the day come, and he had walked the path with his sister nevertheless. This is their commitment! This is the fight that they have chosen. It is a notion that feels powerful, moreso than any of her abilities.
Artemis shifts back into a little girl. She's angry, but more importantly: she wants to win. They must win for the sake of their homeland, and that is not a goal that comes with conditionals.
She's faster than Hades. Artemis doesn't think, she knows: as surely as she knows her own strength.
The hunt is over, because Artemis says it is. She is speed. She is the Eagle-Eye. She is - the end of the forest trail.
A hundred arrows fly into the air, all of them hitting every inch of Hades. She doesn't bother with vitals, that's for archers who run the risk of missing. She doesn't miss a single one.

| Since the dawn of humanity, Apollo had struck down mortal men like a scythe through the field. Through the ages, they feared his wrath as much as they desired his warmth.
He needed no reminder that Hades was not a mortal man. Perhaps that's why he didn't move. Apollo stayed, not compelled (why not, he wondered).
He knew that a still target was easier to hit than a moving one, and for that, he couldn't say he minded having Hades too close for comfort.
"If the battle is not here, then I would be most thankful, uncle, if you would take me to where the battle truly is," he said. If he feared for his life, Apollo didn't show it.
He saw Gaea's attack as it flew, a vortex of life energy that he'd admire if he weren't standing before it.
The life energy moved at the speed of light. Apollo could avoid it, if he could move, which he couldn't.
