level-headed, and quite the person to be looked up to. a man who goes on his scheduled routines in order to become the best at what he does. despite his rather adamant personality, the man is quite loyal and would always give a hand, even if he doesn't want to. soft and kind-hearted, his words may say it but his actions have been proven to be valuable. hard-working and dedicated, there's nothing much to stop him from doing what he does and think is right.

ever since young, smoke has always been the one to seek fulfillment, for someone to take notice of his hard work. when his younger sister was born, he was cast aside. and like any child quite young, he became uncertain, angered by such a given "tragedy". due to the death of his younger sister, he adapted a different personality and suffers from multiple personality disorder. this other "person" was originally a psuedo-persona of smoke, created falsely as a mask in order to hide his fear from the family members.


WINTER. it's cold like any other days. a child was born in the seong household, the fortune of the child was the significance of the black locks. it's cold, the winter winds blow calmly to make the eldest child shiver. just like the ghosts, of the christmas' on passing by, the eldest was ignored due to the different hair colour and the ever changing eyes to fill in the mood acquired for the now. 'useless', 'just another child to be used as a scape-goat', it's the rage now, to be rid of a child who cares no more for the persons. even if the world just stopped spinning, the oldest would still find comfort in the youngest. the perfect smile of hers and the gregarious comfort.

SPRING. they said the flowers bloom. blooming further, developing into a beautiful plant. but all flowers wilt, die of unknown causes. this beautiful flower was wilting. her smile was still pure as it was, but her body was poisonous. the whispers increased. the rise of the family scowling. the boy should have been the one, be rid of him now, no one wants him. desertion is one thing, the other is abandonment. still, he went to the flower. spoiling her, sending her gifts to make her smile. he told her of the severe work the family put him through. brutality and bruises always lined his body and she would cry and kiss his bruises.

SUMMER. the haze drying us. the ringing bells sounded what it all came to. the once beautiful flower wilted. her petals no longer holding her still. the eldest wasn't invited to the funeral. unable to see his flower being buried. the eldest left sunrise due to the funeral. there's no reason for the summer to be hot as it was. even the sky grew cloudy as it lost another mundane.
but family always know when and where to find him. he was emotionally weak, unable to go further after the loss of his first love. when put into the same regime of becoming stronger, he lost himself.

AUTUMN. as the winter chill once more began to give way. smoke lost himself in training after escaping his family. he was partnered with Control to the point where people within the facility notice how the two are inseparable. mission after mission, the two became closer. it's no surprise the two became a couple. able to forget about his past and his first love, smoke moved on.

smoke is as his name implies, a man who can manipulate, create, and shape smoke. usually seen as an unwanted by-product of fires, when one inhales the smoke, it is usually the primary cause of death in victims of indoor fires. as a gwishin, smoke is one of various negative powers that were gifted to the species. although gwishin are known to be a small sub-species of demons, they are powerful species as they are born humans. as a negative power, the gwishin harnesses this power to fabricate lies and destruction for their own bidding, of course, if they so choose (much like smoke and various of other gwishin's).[break][break]as smoke manipulation is at most a common occurrence when coming to death, it does not mean the one inflicted will die easily.

expelling oxygen from the surrounding environment causing respiring organism to choke, at least, it's how it was explained. true as it is, smoke can do much more than that. by lacking the oxygen intake to a person and environment, will cause hallucinations. however, if all oxygen is expelled, then there's the death inducement to this ability. smoke uses this ability to take down or have most victims pass out from the lack of oxygen. however, he would kill someone if it's part of the mission or for his own personal reasons.

this ability focuses mainly to turn smoke into any of the following: tools, objects, weapons, and semi-living creatures. out of the creation of these semi-living creatures, he has varying levels of independence for the semi-living creatures (controlled, automatons/programmed, semi-independent) and existence (momentary to permanent) and delete the creature once he's done with them. as part of smoke construct, smoke tends to create barriers to separate himself from other people, a more or less controlled environment around him when his powers are in play, whether people see it or not, smoke surrounds this individual and has a radius of at least two feet if not activated (when activated, he can only range his powers to 35 feet).

as a smoker himself, smoke tends to have a build up of smoke in his lungs. when manipulated, it exhales from his lungs in a way where he can control the shape. these shapes can include bursts of smoke, a stream of smoke to temporarily blind the enemies, maybe even suffocate them.

generate or manipulate smoke during physical combat. this includes creating beings from smoke (golems, as a semi-living creature which doesn't have a mind of its own and is often used for either protective purposes or just house work, rarely seen as outside of those two, sometimes they are used for house pets or creatures smoke tends to rant to), summoning poisonous smoke to choke the life out of opponents and clouding someone's vision to make a counter attack or escape (this is only temporary).

a recent application to his powers as of late, healing wind is as the name implies; air molecules extract harmful substances and bring in medicament at a molecular level or use air molecules to repair and regenerate damaged cells and molecules. though, unlike air which can be seen as a pure compound to the human body, mikael uses smoke in order to heal others (but mostly himself, since he tends to not partner up with any other field agents).
