THE CROWN[attr="id","townname"]
LED BY OLIVIA VALENTINE ABBIATI[attr="id","towndesc"]
[attr="id","town"][attr="id","inside"]FROM AGES PAST in an era where pokemon reigned like gods upon humans, it was rare to find one gifted with not only skill in intellect and physical feats, but also the ability to train these terrifying beast. It was these early natives of Hoenn who conquered nature and fended for themselves. As time passed soon humans were fueding with one another, and no longer with the forces of nature. During this age, a family of salt and stone, came to the conclusion that protection was needed. A crown of wrought silver of the men they protected, of salt of the sea they lived by, and of stone of Sootopolis; which they called home. To protect, was the first of five crest - or vows - members of this newly formed entity were sworn to take.
NEXT CAME a deep and oathbound loyalty to the Crown. Members of the Crown are expected to obey their superiors and not undermine them, as they must be cohesive and unified in their goals.
PROTECTION DOES not simply mean protecting the people of the city, but the city itself. The following crest is protection of the hearth. The Crown cannot allow a breach of their own homeland and refuse to see it besieged.
HOWEVER this is not to say the Crown does not respect and pay due to that which provides life. It is of great importance that nature and in particular, the sea, is protected as well. The water pure, the air clean, and lands viridian is the hope of the Crown.
YET AT a cost they do so. To swear oneself to the Crown is until death sets one free from the shackles and chains of all promises and vows they may have had in life, as it does for this one. Always remember and know that the Crown is a new family to its members, and family never forgets their own.

[attr="id","aisle"]IN ORDER to be a member of The Crown, one must meet a few requirements. First, a potential must swear loyalty to the Crown. Second, a potential must be able to commit to the time constraints. This means they must be willing to come to the aide of fellow members or their ventures at a moment's notice, or come to the command of a superior. Third, a potential, should they meet the previous two requirements, must battle a current member of the Crown to determine where and how they will fit in. Having met the three requirements, a member is given a small keychain that allows them access in and out of the workings of the Crown.
MEMBERSHIP is based on the needs of the Crown, in terms of threat levels in areas of their interest, or the interest of the current head. However, those chosen are done so for their strength and loyalty. Not any common trainer can find themselves in arms with the Crown. Those of excellence in battle, compassion in training, and loyalty to those they love are sought out for the Crown.
Knights are what traditionally make up the ranks of the Crown, yet the name does not reference the gender of the trainer but is simply a catch-all term that is used by the Crown. Specific titles may be given to Knights based on their merit, status, or other actions they may have done before or after entering into service of the Crown.
The Court is a group of five powerful trainers who assist the Head and also manage certain aspects of The Crown. Each of these members are hand-picked by the Head or may be nominated by their peers to such a position.
The Head, traditionally an Abbiati, is the leader of the Crown. They are usually one of the, if not the, most qualified in the Crown and their word is law. The choosing of the Head is usually a quick and easy process as it is almost always inherited by an Abbiati. However, this is not always the case. The Head may be challenged if deemed unworthy or unfit to lead by the Court on a majority vote. Should this happen, a battle will take place to determine the new Head with the winner obtaining the title and the loser being at the mercy of the new Head. Additionally, this role is almost exclusively held by a woman and is often called the Queen; yet, there has been male leaders who take to calling themselves Kings.
Joining the Crown is a lifelong commitment and any member will always be welcomed into the fold. This includes benefits as well, such as:
♕ Any member of the Crown may have an automatic battle with Olivia for a badge.
♕ Any member of the Crown is free to borrow a pokemon designated for Crown by Olivia or other members.
♕ Any member of the Crown will find shelter and safeguard in Sootopolis should they need it.
♕ Any member of the Crown is free to call upon their fellow members for aide.
♕ Any member of the Crown has access to the Gym's facilities.
06/17 Currently the Queen, Olivia Abbiati, is searching for new members to fill in the void that has been left since the Abbiati left Sootopolis originally. The goal of The Crown at the moment is to gain knowledge of their past, keep Sootopolis safe, and investigate Rocket activity. This decision was made by the current Head and will be enacted until further notice.
