Lucille grew up as the youngest child of two wealthy parents in Forest Hills, New York. Growing up, she was a very disobedient and outspoken child, especially being the daughter of the two children, it led to a disconnect from her and her parents. She was the problem child, picking up bad habits, staying out late drinking with the "lower class" kids, always caked in her mother's expensive makeup. "How disgusting," her mother would say, "you were raised better than that." Her upbringing, besides the constant struggle between mother and daughter, was what you'd expect from a wealthy family. Lavish, never really a worry in the world. Except for the fact her parents wanted her and her brother to keep their powers hidden, to pretend they didn't exist.

She left home at around 20 years of age, growing tired from the mistreatment by her parents and now by her once loved older brother.  Armed with a bachelor's degree in English Literature, she now works as a editor for an up and coming fashion magazine in Kingsport, and in her spare time acts as a vigilante in the city. It gets complicated when her brother shows up, on occasion, to try and drag her home but there is no forgive and forget. (A showdown between powers in the middle of the city is generally not very pretty.)

She's refused joining the Initiative multiple times, and all attempts to arrest/detain her thus far have resulted in complete failure. She has become one of the city's cheered vigilantes, always making a spectacle whenever it comes to detaining/fighting threats of the city. Being a thorn in the Initative's side is a personal joy of hers, and so it goes.

Lucille has the ability to manipulate, create, and mutate all forms of plant life. This includes pollen, leaves, seeds, ect. This ability is not limited to any specific biomes, and is effective even in city environments due to Lucille's ability to spontaneously bring plants/plant byproducts into existence. This ability can be used for defense or offense with ease. For example, Lucille's signature ability is to generate a large swath of red flowers producing noxious pollen.

She is also able to communicate with plant life, and sense the overall state of any plant within a set distance of herself. Along with this communication, she has the ability to pick up on any sensory information available to plants within her range. Plants will express loyalty to Lucille and obey her commands with no issue. It's a given that in the presence of plants, Lucille's physical capabilities and stamina are enhanced.


Lucille can change plants into tools, weapons, any possible contruct she can think of. She is also capable of creating sentient plant creatures with this ability, for example a tree may uproot, move, and obey her commands.


Lucille is able to teleport via plant life, the only restriction being that the plants must be in her line of sight or connected via root systems.


Subconsciously, Lucille's powers/plants will do their best to defend her when her reflexes/conscious control of her abilities aren't quick enough. This includes subconscious bark generation over her skin to deflect blows that may be otherwise fatal, vine generation to block incoming projectiles, ect. This defense isn't perfect, however, and can be broken through. Since it is newly developed, it isn't one hundred percent effective and will not always activate.


Due to her extensive knowledge of plants and organic materials, Lucille is able to create elixirs of various effect. Some may increase mental clarity, physical and mental capability, or temporarily increase a person's innate cellular regeneration. She is not capable of replicating many magical effects due to her abilities not being rooted in magic.
