While he’s not much into killing others, he does have no problem maiming someone until they’re incapable of being a problem. Which is the problem with his hero’ing, since when he shows up on the scene it generally means equivalent damage to the environment, structures, and enemy than was truly necessary. But he’s a very simple young man, not much caring about the collateral damage, only that the job has been taken care of. [break][break] Despite the fact that Genesis is a gifted Genesian in his development of abilities (and living) to this point, what he has never had is any sort of ambition. In all actuality the only reason he joined up with the Initiative because he figured that trying to duck them indefinitely would take too much effort (and for safety), not because he felt a civic duty to help anyone. Significantly more lazy than people, Genesis is a walking PR nightmare for how he goes about resolving conflict, and even worse with the people based on his uncontrollable mouth sewage. [break][break] While he has never been the most intelligent person of the universe, nor has any Genesian, they’ve all been known for that mouth. Incredibly sarcastic and walking insults, Genesis is no different, as he doesn’t mind being irrationally difficult with anyone over nothing. His mannerisms simply say that he gives no fucks what you think of him, which causes his mouth to follow suit. It’s made even worse by his lazy, bored, and almost monotone sounding voice. Yet sometimes he manages to keep himself quiet, but during those times...it will likely become a problem for someone. [break][break] But Genesis isn’t all bad news! Nope, he can be fun a lot of times. Incredibly unreliable, the Genesian can more likely be found where the shots are being thrown back and the drugs are being done before he can be found walking some old ass lady across the street. Because he grew up in Scandinavia the warmonger in him is one that has to be constantly suppressed. However when he feels the desire to go do crazy things, he makes sure he is without Sun for days upon days, in order to bring him down to the human level so he doesn’t just flat out do unfixable harm to a drunk civilian. Responsibility! Psyche! If anything Genesis is simply a Frat Boy in an incredible physical vessel. [attr="class","subcat"]biographical details It was always interesting to Genesis, his parents that was. Of course they had filled him in on what he was and where he was from when he was but a jit, but neither of them never went into any sort of detail about it. Instead just brashly putting it that he should give up on wanting to understand what happened in the past, before the Vikings, before the conquest that they were both so keen in being a part of. The irony was just so impeccable...well more so the fact that a race of warmongers would find themselves having landed in a time of Earth that was all about destruction, carnage, war, and death for virtually no reason. So as he matured, Genesis found himself within the same cycle, learning like his parents to suppress his own massively growing strength so that he only appeared to be the stronger of the Vikings rather than some super alien who could destroy the enemy with little effort. There was no fun in that, and Valhalla also wouldn’t see warriors in its hall that dishonored warrior customs. Allowing others the chance to fight back. [break][break] However, the thing that has was blind to is that his parents had come from there world, a world of survivalist and were the ones who spurred on the Viking Era, the wanton death and destruction. Because in the end they knew no better way...there wasn’t another way. No hope in technology, philosophy, art, or otherwise, the only thing his parents knew were hurting other creatures that ruled the lands, taking more land and sparing no one. Even as the Vikings fell, that was not the end for himself and his parents. Instead moving in the direction of the next conflict that was bound to be had on planet Earth. Though it was the Middle Ages, the proper name had been given for it, calling it the Dark Ages. A time of plague, war, and zero intellectual gain. It was paradise. A paradise that Gen-El no longer wanted. [break][break] Not to be confused, Gen-El had no problem inflicting pain, suffering, and death upon...anyone, the problem was that he knew nothing else. Stumbling upon the few people who could count or read made him envious of such super powers. He wanted it, and as long as his family was bent on laying waste to every life that existed around him, he’d never get the opportunity to learn these new and exciting abilities that were reading and writing. So he ran, much to his father’s frustration and disgust for his son. For a time the endless violence became lesser due to the fact his parents had taken a break from the battlefields to claim their dishonored son. Fortunately Gen-El had developed quite a fantastic speed, and even more useful skills in geography and hiding. For centuries he has been avoiding his parents, ending up in Kingsbury and joining The Initiative in the process. Because regardless of how physically strong he was...at the end of the day he fears the day that his parents find him. Despite being human in appearance, their biology is far more advanced than Earth based humans. Being equipped with more elaborate biology, Genesian’s harness the power of energy in much more elaborate manners, specifically the radiation from the Sun. Furthermore with additional organs, while requiring sustenance in the form of food and water, Genesian’s do not have to breath, allowing them to survive in the vacuum of space or where no oxygen exist. Working like a humanoid battery, whenever a Genesian is exposed to the UV/radiation from a yellow Sun or Blue Sun, their physical attributes increase, as well as them gaining a host of other abilities that are simply of their physiology. A race of efficient survivalist, Genesian’s tend to develop abilities that are deemed necessary to their innate survival. Simply put, what abilities they’re capable of gaining physically has no limit, as well as their stamina being endless as well. But because their power is reliant on the Sun, if not exposed to it their powers began to wane, leaving them in the same category as normal human of equal physical condition, though it would take several days to run completely dry of the Sun’s energy (abilities would still decrease per time elapsed). [attr="class","subcat"]Super Strength When powered by the Yellow/Blue Sun, all of Genesis’ stats go up, but most prominent and awe inspiring has to be his strength. Capable of lifting up to One hundred tons casually with little exposure to the Sun, when significantly charged up the upper limit to his physical strength is limitless. [attr="class","subcat"]Super Speed / Super Perception Just as it sounds, Super Speed is the ability to move super fast, be it in combat or simply traveling. After being exposed to the yellow or blue Sun, Genesis is capable of travel and combat speeds that are about half the speed of light at his peak. Furthermore he is also capable of seeing perfectly while moving at such speeds, seeing everything that is moving significantly slower as if time itself is passing by slowly. [attr="class","subcat"]Enhanced Durability Simply put, Genesis is a tank. Capable of taking absurd amounts of punishment ranging from punches to the explosion of planets and stars without taking detrimental damage from it. Aside from that, he’s immune to all Earth based diseases and poisons, though those of the foreign nature may still have varying impacts on his biology. [attr="class","subcat"]Heat Vision Producing a laser-esque beam from his eyes, his heat vision produces a heat equivalent to five thousand degrees. While capable of melting most materials on impact, when focused in a smaller burst, his heat vision produces a cutting effect, slicing thru even the most dense material like a hot knife thru butter. [attr="class","subcat"]Zig-Zag Beam Released as a yellow stream of energy from his eyes, the Zig-Zag Beam is unlike Heat Vision is capable of being manipulated after it is produced. Meaning it doesn’t have to go in the direction that it is being fired, instead capable of changing directions at Genesis’ will a multitude of times. Also when it strikes a surface it doesn’t cause burn or cutting damage, instead creating a kinetic/blunt force equivalent to the speed it’s traveling. [attr="class","subcat"]Aging Deceleration After a Genesian reaches their sexual maturity they begin to age several times slower than a normal human being to the point it physically looks like they’re not aging at all. If not killed, a Genesian is capable of surviving for thousands upon thousands of years. |
