Nori is the most chill person you could ever find, doing everything in his power not expand too much energy. Unless it involves his vices which are truly only two things, smoking and being lazy though his laziness is by choice. Where one might think him nothing more then a Sloth, Nori's mind is often thinking about a variety of things. His preference to do nothing is as said by choice, but only after a childhood where he was metaphorically grilled by his noble parents.

As he grew older Nori got sick of all the rhetoric and training, and decided his own path away from his overbearing family. One way to turn Nori's ultra chill personality into something completely terrorifying, is to mess with his pipe/pouch which in turn connects to his smoking. The other is to cause or allow harm to come to children or animals, since he's always been around them at some point or another. Preferring their truthful and innocent ways, to the buzz killing nature of other people but solitude is his ultimate preference. Because of the special plant given to him, Nori is permanently stoned regardless of food, water or sleep.

Nori is a lot of things and outside of his vices, he's primerly a businessman selling weed to people but only of a certain age. Other then this Nori also plays the middle man in various matters as long as they don't cross his moral code, he also has a legitimate shop front in a new age medicine store. With all of these things on his plate most would think Nori doesn't have time for being lazy, or to enjoying be stoned or general chillaxation. That's why he often delegates less important jobs to others, leaving him time to do other things. He's by no means a hero but the only illegal things he does is sell weed and occasionally information, otherwise he will sometimes stand up for the safety of others especially children, animals and obvious innocent people.


Nori Rokuro was born the eldest son of an elustiorious family in the Japan, they essentially owned countless companies that dominated the market. Because of this Nori was forced into study and training early in life, so that he was ready to take over as head of the family. This would in turn make him the head of the family, though like many places the Rokuro family handled things behind the scenes. But even so their family was one of the most powerful in Japan, and most knew not cross them though they were the first to go to when one was in trouble. Living his childhood as nothing more then a continuos disciple, Nori rarely ever had any fun as a child. The few times he did was when he was with his younger siblings, or the few times he snuck out and went into town where they didn't know him. His social interactions were generally between rich folk at parties, or his siblings and some street children.

In his teen years, Nori become more then a little despondent about his life. Though luxury wasn't a problem for him, he had little chance to enjoy it and often fed his excess food to hungry people in town. Even though he disliked his constant studying and training, he did become highly skilled in many of said practises. He enjoyed Botany and Astronmey, using it as an escape of sorts when he could. After a surprise trip into town, Nori was urged to try Taima with some of his street friends. As he took his first puff Nori's mind opened up like never before, allowing him a greater view of everything around him. From that moment on Nori took every opportunity to smoke up, all the while biding his time and resources so that he could escape his constricting lifestyle.

Though he loved his siblings, he also knew they were put through the same study and training regime. Which meant he could allow them to take his place, as head of the family. So bidding his siblings goodbye as they slept, giving them each a personal note and present. Nori took all the excess money and resources he could from his parents, before hitting the world in search of freedom. Taking his life in his own hands and out in the world, Nori found it to be just as hard as expected. And in some cases, the need for a steady income was something many had to worry about. So with his chosen vice and business sense Nori got into drug trafficking but only Taima, he knew there was harder stuff out there but preferred his personal choice. It didn't prevent him from becoming top in his field and the best source of Taima across Japan, he had his tough times and rivals but old skills came in handy in those situations.

He started off by finding a basic dealer and after some convincing, Nori got in contact with their supplier and made a deal. He would be their Taima dealer for a time, untill he got profits up to a record high. In doing so he gained better contacts both as customers and suppliers, though he was never out of his personal supply. Nori soon beame top in his field as a Taima dealer and soon got into supplying as well as dealing. Though he often preferred doing the job himself Nori had contacts in his little black book, they range across the country and the world. This wasn't an overnight occurrence and took him years to accomplish, even though he's a chosen lazy person people were amazed with his business sense. Using his network and abilities Nori became known as Lord Taima across Japan, being the best person to get the best quality Taima around.

After becoming the promenient Taima dealer in Japan, Nori decided to expand his empire and made his way to America. But before that Nori talked to an old friend of his that gave him a special Taima plant, smoking the plant on the way to America while in an unmarked plane something happened. It gave him powers over his favoured vice as well amplifying his already exceptional skill set, once he landed in America Nori used his contacts to set up both legit and illegitimate businesses. All the while he also horned his powers alongside his other skills that despite his chosen laziness, he usually kept honed so they wouldn't get rusty.

Nori can manipulate the plant known as Taima in Japan and weed elsewhere, he can force growth of said plant and manipulate it in order to create vines, walls, constructs etc. This only requires the smallest amount of Taima to facilitate a seed, that he can manipulate it for his uses. The strength of his Taima can be compared to any form it can take, which Nori can also call on any form Taima can take with the smallest amount. He can create ropes, oil, medicine and countless other things, he can use or change the type of Taima he has as well. Being a plant one would think fire would be its weakness but in fact due to its need for it, ice is actually more effective against it.

Another form of manipulation he can do, is to control Taima smoke. Allowing it to go anywhere he chooses, increase in size and potency or constructs. The only thing is that he can only control Taima smoke itself and not other forms of smoke, he can also turn himself into Taima smoke for short periods. Which can allow him to enter locked places or avoid danger and detection, though he can only do this for a few minutes at a time. As one would expect wind is a contributing factor in Nori's smoke from dissipating and being cast from existence though in some cases he can use it to his advantage using his fans. His whole person, clothes and items also turn with him when he turns into smoke.



A big part of him being perminenantly stoned apart from the fun and enlightening effects, is a slow down of time around Nori's perception allowing him to notice things easier then most. This allows him to react quicker and evade easier then most, though this effect is continuos Nori can concentrate and usually does so when talking to people so as to not hear words in slow mo. The time slow only effects him and he can't alter anyone else's time, only concentration stops the effect.

His slow mo perception allows him to avoid numerous things including thrown objects, bullets and even see most other high speed object including speedsters. Another effect of his permanent stone is that people with telepathy would have a hard time reading his thoughts or getting into his head, because all they'd run into is an excess of Taima smoke and little more though when concentrating on speech some things maybe picked up but that's it.




Nori was highly trained in a variety of martial arts including Choy Li Fut, Zui Quan, Shaolin Kung Fu and their weapon styles. Because of the constant training in is youth Nori is an expert martial artist in these three main styles and their related weaponry styles, he's kept up his training so as to protect himself and not get rusty. Even though he hated all the rigorous training, he still uses them to this day. He even created his own version of Zui Quan (Drunken Kung Fu), which revolves around being stoned instead of drunk and instead of pretending/mimicking the movements he is actually stoned while in use.

He always carries a set of weapons with him that he excels in using, his first preference is his bladed fans which he uses in singular or plural fashions. He also uses them in conjunction with his Taima smoke manipulation to extend its range, or help past certain boundaries. He also carries a sectioned staff, manriki gusari, sabre claws and Duel Kukri.



Nori is skilled a many number of things outside martial arts, learning business from his father and his experience in Japan. He is a skilled scholar and researcher (Only topics that interest him), he is a skilled botanist who can identify, access, heal or grow most recorded plants and trees. He's also skilled in Astronmey allowing him to navigate by stars, he is also a skilled writer and calligrapher. All these help him in his daily life both in his legitimate and illegitimate businesses or just generally interest him purposely.
