• BIRTH - 8 YEARS
  

After being born in Manhattan, New York, Zanii lived a quiet normal life with a normal family. Both parents were happily married with one other child. His mother didn't have any type of powers, but his father possessed fire manipulation. His brother possessed metal manipulation, while he was born with fear empowerment. Though, his brothers powers developed at an early age, Zanii's did not. This caused his older brother to be his father's favorite. His father was a very secretive man and was constantly working. Anytime he was home he didn't pay much mind to Zanii, only to his older brother. They were constantly working on getting his brother's power in a state that it came to his brother as a second nature, but this was soon to change.

On a regular day at the park, Zanii was with his mother and brother. Everything was calm until a wild dog came and started attacking random children. All around the park little kids screams could be heard. Parents ran over to go help the kids in distress, but it was to late for one child. The dog was cornering a small little girl, Zanii saw this and rushed over to help. Only being 7, he knew he couldn't do much, but it was worth a shot. Running over there, something felt weird. It was as if he was absorbing energy from the people around them. He began running faster than any of the adults. Before you knew it he was directly behind the dog. As the dog turned around and growled at him, he was beginning to get scared. He wasn't sure what he was gonna do, but before he could even think, the dog charged him. Without hesitating, Zanii threw a punch aimed at the dog's head. It connected, but in a horrible way.

His fist broke through the dog's skull and came out through the dog's jaw. It was a horrifying sight for everyone around. As he pulled his fist out from the dog's dead body, he turned to see that everyone backed away from him. His own mother and brother was terrified of him. He felt more energy shooting through his body, to him this whole thing felt "fantastic." He looked down at his hands to see it covered in blood. His mother ran over to him, grabbed his stained hands along with his brothers and quickly ran home. Once they reached home, she phone his father and explained what happened. His father simply told her to remain calm and that he will be home soon. After waiting a few hours, his father arrived and headed directly to Zanii's room. He had a briefcase with him, he closed the door once he entered and opened the briefcase. Inside of it was a small machine that had a needled connected to it. He grabbed Zanii by the arm and stuck the needle into his arm. After a taking some blood, the machine started making a sound, but stopped after a couple of seconds. His father read the machine and a devilish smile appeared on his face. His father patted his head while removing everything he brought into Zanii's room. He opened the door and began walking out, but before he left, he said "You have a great future ahead of you."

• 12 YEARS - 17 YEARS

Not much passed since that day in the park, but Zanii was always wondering what his father meant when he said Zanii had a great future ahead of him. Ever since then, he had begun to understand where the energy came from. It seemed like whenever someone was afraid of he was able to absorb that fear and turn it into various things like; turning it into immense strength, enhanced stamina, enhanced durability, and slightly enhanced speed. He enjoyed having this power, but the people around him didn't. Kids in school made didn't enjoy him being around, so he was always alone. It wasn't any better at home, his mother wouldn't go near him and his brother was mad that his father spent little to no time at all with him because of that day at the park.

One night, Zanii heard arguing between his parents. He didn't listen much, but he heard his name mention several times. Soon, his father walked into his room and told him to pack his stuff and go into his car. He didn't think twice, he did what his father asked, but before he could reach the door, his mother was standing there with a knife. He looked at her confused like, but before he could say anything she charged at him with the knife. He could feel the fear shooting off of her, so in an act of self defense, he absorbed it and moved out of the way of the knife. She turned and charged again, but this time she met with his fist to her stomach. She fell straight to the ground and was motionless. He went to her body and shook her, but she wasn't responding. Soon after, his father came from where he was and ran over to his mother's body. He checked her pulse and looked across to Zanii's older brother who had just seen what happened. His face read anger all over. As Zanii opened his mouth, the television in the room shot straight towards Zanii. His father caught the television right before it came in contact with Zanii. He dropped the television and ran over to his eldest son. Objects began flying in the dad's direction, but the dad sent them all back with his fire. Before you knew it he was on top of the son. Zanii couldn't see what happened next, but his brother's body went still.

His father walked back over to Zanii and told him that his brother was fine and to hurry to the car. As he ran into the car, his father quickly followed behind him. As they begun to drive away, he turned back to his home to see objects flying in their direction. It didn't take long before they stopped, but this was the last time Zanii had seen his mother and brother. After that night, his father took him to a facility all the way in Trenton, New Jersey. He called it Zanii's new home. In the facility, Zanii was met with scientist who tested him all day everyday. This lasted for about a month before his dad returned and took him to more people but these people looked more like assassins. To his surprise, they turned out to be assassins. His father left him with them from the age of 13 to the age of 17. By the time he came back, Zanii knew almost every form of assassination, 5 different languages(Russian, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, and French), he also gained all his education that was mandatory for a kid his age, he learned gymnastics/acrobatics, three different fighting styles(kung fu, muay thai, and boxing), and he also figured out his ideal weapon(a scythe). He also learned how to control his powers and what its limits were. His father had created the perfect assassin.

• 18 YEARS

After finishing training to become an assassin, Zanii began taking missions directly from his father. He completed countless of missions at the age of 18 and was getting known among others as the boogeyman because of the way he killed his target. He would terrify them and torture them so he could feed on their fear before killing them. His father turned him into a sadistic monster, but he enjoyed this life, but he started to hate taking orders from his father. He wanted to do what he wanted whenever he wanted. So, at the age of 19, he disappeared from whatever organization his father was apart of. He couldn't enter the world as a regular citizen, plus he enjoyed killing, so he choose to enter as an evil doer that preyed on the weak. He didn't know if his father would find him, but he didn't care he was gonna enjoy his life.

Fear Empowerment allows Zanii to turn others fear into various things. This goes from immense enhanced strength, slightly enhanced speed, enhanced agility, and enhanced durability. The amount of fear that can be absorbed is said to be over 250 people at one time, anything over would cause an overload and can render the Zanii unconscious. Once the max amount is absorb, Zanii's hair turns completely black and spews blood colored smoke from his mouth. The absorbed fear can be stored and used for a later time.



Zanii's Scythe is basically his only weapon in his arsenal. He has trained over 8 years with the scythe and knows how to use it in many ways. When using his ability, his scythe is said to be able to cut through cars and walls of buildings.



Just like any good assassin, Zanii has master the art of stealth. He is able to move through any area undetected. This is another reason people refer to him as the boogeyman or boogey.
