+ Her parents were second generation immigrants in a roughly middle class standing. They were hard working, and always encouraged their children to be the same. Since she was small her parents wanted the very best for Evelyn, being the oldest of her siblings, but she understood their pressures and concern for her future as she got older. The world was a dangerous place, and no one was simply handed success.

+ Evelyn didn't always want to be some kind of doctor, alas stereotypes weren't always wrong and her parents very much did. It just so happened that she was good at school too, constantly receiving straight A's, honors, and awards for her work but it wasn't without the paranoia that she'd disappoint her family otherwise. She grew up feeling very much that she owed her parents, since they paid for her piano lessons, gave her alone time to study on the weekends. Succeeding meant more to her than just giving them what they wanted.

+ She loved psychology. A fascinating subject to her, she felt that she could do much good for those that needed it. With her scholarships and high grades she soared through college, finishing earlier than initially planned with a two degrees in psychology and neuroscience, and a minor in languages from Yale. After school she's since established herself in Kingsport. A notable name in the city, her clients mostly consist of heroes that need someone to talk to, and with her claim to complete secrecy of such meetings from reaching the public if so desired, such heroes need not be concerned or embarrassed to see her as they see fit.

+ On her off time, it might come as a surprise, but she loves boxing. Heading to the gym is one of her many personal stress relievers, and if not at her own home working out she'll often be seen in the early hours or late nights working out at the gym or taking a job around town. She's aware that her job comes with some risks, and this hobby of hers is another way to keep herself active and ready for anything.

The aforementioned are not powers on a supernatural or inhuman level, but skills.


She's a smarty pants. Evelyn loves learning even to this day and reads often, keeps up with medical journals, and tries to stay informed daily in her spare time. Her memory is nearly photogenic, and while it is sharp there are still things that even she misses being human and all. As of now she knows three languages, English, French, and Japanese.




She's taken a few classes in the past, but currently trains herself. She's been boxing since her freshman year of college, and has taken classes in mixed martial arts and self defense for several years of her attendance in school. Her agility and endurance are greater than most, but not superhuman.
