>Meeting Jesca at first glance is like meeting most teenage girls. She enjoys fashion, media, and of course technology. She talks with the latest lingo, keeps her family up to date with what’s new and popular, and like most girls, has a penance for cute things. She’s a fun, happy blond who loves talking and honestly gives off that old fashioned ‘youtube personality girl’ vibe, a weird sort of vintage in the eyes of the current future standard.

>She’s a bit high strung and emotional when the clock is ticking down, fretting over things that she sometimes has no control over and is prone to getting into accidents. But when she’s focused on something important there is nothing more than accomplishing the task at hand. Though her mother describes her as having a bride’s brain, meaning she’ll have all the checklists and planning figured out down to the letter but is the type to forget something like her fiancé in the final moments.

>Though she has that up front view of a girl who seemingly has her life put together, sorted and organized with little label stickers and colorful binders she's actually quite the opposite. Seemingly acting older then she is Jesca is careless and clumsy and can be brutal with her words leaving a bitter taste that lingers in the mouth.

>It’s not as rare as it used to be but Jesca is Allocentric. Placing a lot of time and care towards her family, binary or not. What's Binary? It's like Internet family. Those still exist, but are less of an 'oddity' and more of a common thing that's widely popular with students and young college graduates. A 24/7 support system that goes beyond just someone to talk to. It's like having an actual extended family who will show up and be there to help you. It's come a long way from plastering faces and false words on a popular webpage for likes.

>She’s going to come off as oddly strange to those around her, chalked full of a little mermaid on land moments that are bound to cause havoc even though she's trying to sedate her curiousity. A tourist of time her fanatical displays are just a show of how profoundly different her true reality is.

“What would cause you to completely break all the rules and possibly land yourself in a galactic prison for half a century or possibly a few lifetimes? You hear people all the time say, "I'd go through hell. I'd sleep with my worst enemy. I'd die for them. I'd take a bullet. I'd burn in hell for eternity. I'd do whatever it takes." Those statements and pledges, these promises, vows we say so easily are things that could alter someone’s life in a single instant and possibly destroy your current self both mentally and physically. Could you do it? Could you back up those words with actions? Would you really do it if you were presented with the moment? Let's be completely honest for a second, no fantasy heroics. Just flat out truth. No, no you probably wouldn't. The moment something like that came up and you'd have to make due on your word you'd probably be in shock and the overcome with fear that it finally happened. What's this got to do with me (Jesca)? . . .I'm doing it. I'm making good on my words. I could get into a lot of trouble for it. I might even alter the state of the world, but I'm tired of living like this. I want to help, I want to fix it. I read a practically ancient paper once, it said "Time is Money" and that . . . gave me an idea. I know where I can find time....now I just need to get the money.”







Jesca Ursa-Dawn Outlits is a young girl from a future that we still make movies about and dub it as sci-fi fantasy. A place where genetic alterations are normal, Cancer has been cured and nano machines are commonly used in medical practice. There are no longer hybrid modes of transportation, the Babylon Project has taken over the Earth and let’s not forget the Ocean Cities and the Appalachian Sea. She lives in a world where instant is real. Everything is at your finger tips, touch is how you go and flights into space are more common than the novelty airship travels on Earth. She comes from a future more real than any prediction could imagine and it’s still laced with the same problems from the past.

>Jesca is a Designer Child, meaning her parents genetically modified her into how they wanted her to look and turn out. Perfect oval face, cute nose, the exact shade of blue in her mother’s wedding ring for eye color, to that specific shade of blond that only candlelight on a wall covered in Stellar Blanc can get. It’s a common practice and very few parents opt for the natural approach for their future lineage. Who wouldn’t? A land of beautiful people, unless you’re from the Freedom Class, then those kinds of options aren’t readily available, unless you can meet the down payment for the basic modifications.

>Her father is a Space Biology Engineer, military grade, who was responsible for managing Shepherd Terminal’s ecology systems. But due to the voting in of the opposite party his job was skillfully removed along with many others with the New World President. The colonization of the moon was falling out of favor and many families found themselves shipped back down to Earth and placed in various under construction locations and positions where their pay was cut by more than half. Right now he works in city construction as one of the many hired hands.

>Her mother is a former Shepherd Terminal Council Member responsible for overseeing the well being of eight gates. She acted as a Mayor of sorts for the people and a diplomat of Earth, when dealing with the Sythy, an alien race which the Earth had as their second contact. She was replaced by someone else on the New President’s party and right now she’s working as a realtor for one of the many newly christened Oceanic Cities. Jesca doesn't get to physically see her that often though the do talk daily on her sky phone.

>Jesca also has an older brother, he too is a Designer Child in his mid twenties, and is currently struggling to finish his degree at the Aerospace Engineering & Architecture School of Design and Function in order to continue on with their father’s work of space colonization. It is hoped that in ten years when the next new world vote happens that things will get brighter but at the moment her brother is facing pressure to join the Emerald Cities Act and be one of the many Oceanic City yellow hats who are a dime a dozen.

>What’s hurting them the most is the Refresh that they are unable to afford for all of them anymore. The Refresh is much like a booster shot but with Nano machines that zip around through the body tidying up the current cell structures and keeping everything in prime operation and filtering out the old. It’s one of the reasons the average human lifespan has gone up from the typical century to nearly two and some even longer. It seems that longevity is finally within reach and the fountain of youth is simply a shot away. But thanks to their new current state of living it’s possible that Dad or Mom may be unable to get theirs which means death is around the corner. Her brother already has gotten his, and she just got hers. Mom said she was going to get her’s done soon and she reminded her Dad about it.

>It’s these sorts of things that not only her family is struggling with, but the majority of the world. The severe gap between current standard classes and the Eco Class is too wide and opposition seems to be snuffed out whenever it boils up. But unlike others who have resigned to their fate Jesca is adamant on finding a way to change hers without having to be placed on a waiting list or hoping when she’s twenty- seven that things will get better.

>On July 20th, 4:37p.m. Jesca made her way into her brother’s campus under the guise of a visiting student on tour. She had prepared for this moment for weeks, everything she needed was in her phone, or pocket and the carefully placed questions to her brother a month ago were going to pay off. Within the walls of the school a smaller, experimental time travel unit was available for student handling. It was meant for low key experimentation, the kind’s things like sending fruit and the occasional failed homework assignment back to a week prior to correct. Jesca was going to push the limits with it. One false fire alarm and her brothers student code she entered the room, placed in the date and crawled into the space the size of a mini fridge. Smashing her eyes shut and a blinding flash later she was gone.


>She came to with the sound of angry car horns as she stood in the middle of a busy street in Kings smack dab in the moment of a down pour. Stumbling out of the way and under a shop awning she found that she not only succeeded in passing into an illegal point in time but that she was all in one piece!

A million to one chance of success, taking with her only the clothes on her back and a small journal the size of her hand filled with several tid-bits of past information. Common unimportant things like; lotto numbers, horse race champions, stocks, vintage items and starter companies that held no real value anymore in her time were now prime pieces to invest in from the past which is now, as her time jump worked, the current future. She's hoping that the information and money she's going to use and place into a safety deposit box will help her future family.

It's not necessarily a power but Jesca does know a lot of information and 'future history' of the current world and what is to become. Though Jesca’s future is just one of many possible dimensional futures it is a future that does in fact exist and the current present happened in order for it to come into being. Jesca’s knowledge is not false in anyway but is a truth that exists and can be changed.
