[attr="class","textie"]The location was a small restaurant known to be one of Little Dublin's finest, a burger joint known as Speedy Ned's. It was mostly empty at this hour, somewhere between ten and eleven at night. There were a couple of lonely patrons, one of whom was somewhat of an oddity. The queen of a distant nation, Elisabet Lazarev was very casually sitting in a bar stool, lightly kicking her legs and waiting for her burger to come out.[break][break]
Normally, the girl would have a bodyguard or two. Not that she needed them. But tonight, she wanted to be without them. She just wanted to enjoy some real American food, something she had had only once before in her life. Although she missed her home in Stalmira. Her people looked up to her, and she would be headed back there in two weeks. But she would learn much about America in her time there. Elisa closed her eyes, her eyes which did nothing anyways, and took in the smells of the restaurant. The salt, the bread, the meat, everything coming together to create some unique smell she had only found here.[break][break]
Elisa heard someone else come in. A male, somewhat slender. He was tall, but within the realms of normalcy so far as that went. The way he carried himself told Elisa that he was young. But for now, she didn't greet him, and would only feel herself compelled to do so if he sat near her, or if he sat beside her. Although then she would feel compelled to have conversation with him. That might become awkward. The only boys she had ever talked to were the ones she grew up with in the lab. They were more like brothers. This was...wholly different. [break]
