Zhu Bajie is insatiable. His hunger is a demon in itself, and it's what dictates his actions, getting him into the most trouble while being - arguably - the root source of his power. If he sees something he wants, he'll go to any means in order to get it. Greedy doesn't begin to describe it, and nothing seems to satisfy him for very long.

If he ever does something, expect it to be for his own benefit. Pig operates on the idea that he exists only for himself, and will put forth effort into his goals and ambitions wholeheartedly while largely ignoring the people around him. Favors are a no-go, and while rewards will spark some interest, there's a higher chance of him taking it by force first rather than jumping through any hoops. Don't try bribery, either. Pig's the sort to take first, ask questions later. He's good at coming up with a million excuses as to why he didn't do something rather than getting it done in the first place.

Pig has a lot of simple desires. He likes food, sleep, and women. When he's not out taking things from people, he likes to take naps that can last anywhere from half an hour to many, many hours on end. Hunger is what eventually gets him out of bed, because Pig can eat and eat and eat and never feel full. Women can be a weakness for him, depending on how you look at it. He could use his powers to do so much, but Pig would rather use them to spy on girls' locker rooms, beaches or swimming pools. Busts and butts are great - like everything else he likes, the bigger the better. Pig ogles and drools over women without shame, sometimes involuntarily breaking his disguise to show his true form if they're particularly beautiful.

Even though he gets jealous easily, Pig sort of respects those that are far out of his league in terms of power. He's not as stupid as he makes himself out to be, and knows how to pick and choose his battles, backing off when he's in the presence of someone with the ability to overpower him. Like every other being in the world, his ultimate goal is to garner as much power as he can get his hands on, seeing it as a tool in order to get everything he ever wants and more.

Pig seems like the type of guy who would be best suited as a henchman - or right hand man - if he didn't hate rules and conformity with a passion. He works for no one, but has no interest in being any sort of leader, either.



It might seem hard to believe, but Pig was once a war general, commander in chief of over 80,000 warriors before he was first offered immortality by some deity. It wasn't exactly free, but the idea of living forever as an all-powerful great is usually something worth working for. In the end, he successfully achieved immortality and went on to become a deity himself, but was later banished because he sexually harassed the wife of one of the higher-ups among gods. They stripped him of his immortality and other benefits, then reincarnated him back on earth. Except this time, he didn't have all the power and authority he had in his previous life, and became just another ordinary human.

Turns out, Pig(surprisingly) missed his immortality. He ended up selling his soul to obtain a fraction of what he had before(with certain drawbacks that he wasn't aware of at the time), which led to half his body being replaced with that of a pig's in exchange for magical abilities and a form of semi-immortality that manifested in 1000 lives instead. He was also cursed to die in a love tragedy within each life, but hey - beggars can't be choosers. Pig sees this rather optimistically, which is to say that he's very excited about potentially hooking up with 1000 different women.

Pig spent a good chunk of his new life wandering around earth, lusting after women and ruining everything he came into contact with. There was a period of time when he went through some sort of phase that involved discovering his conscience and the ability to feel guilty, playing bodyguard for this monk that claimed to be seeking enlightenment in an attempt to atone for his past sins. He didn't end up achieving enlightenment, but Pig was pretty satisfied with the endless leftovers and power that he received instead. He returned home and lived through decades upon centuries of eating, sleeping, chasing after beautiful women, then grew bored of normality and decided to hone his powers as well.

After he grew tired of putting forth so much effort, Pig decided to see what other people had to offer in terms of power. His main goal is to find people stronger than him, using their power to make himself even stronger. The weak don't interest him.

A very, very broad sort of semi-immortality that also comes with conditions. Each one of these lives will only end by means of a love tragedy. Until then, Pig enjoys a form of immortality - he cannot end his own life prematurely and also can't be killed. Pig is currently on his 10th life, give or take. He sort of never bothered to begin counting in the first place.



Pig can do 36 different transformations, human and animals included. His current form isn't included in these transformations because it's what Pig looked like in his first human life, and can be broken in the presence of a beautiful woman. Pig's transformations are limited to bulky animals and humans, but he can choose to replace fat with muscle on any human transformations.



Pig can easily eat up to 20 times of what a normal human does without gaining a single pound. He can increase and decrease the weight of objects and himself as he wishes, but can't affect the weight of other people.



His weapon is a nine-pronged rake that weighs roughly eleven thousand pounds. When Pig doesn't feel like lugging it around, he decreases its weight to make for easier transport.



He may not be the smartest guy around, but Pig's physical capabilities are better than others usually expect. He can lift his eleven thousand pound weapon with ease, has incredible stamina due to his bottomless food reserves and is well versed in hand to hand combat. Pig fights best when underwater. He can stay submerged for an incredibly long period of time without having to come up for air.
