Here's Pig, otherwise known as Zhu Bajie. He's just your everyday guy who managed to get, lose, and then get cursed with immortality + some other things over the short, short span of about 1000 years. Also, he's a half pig monster masquerading around as the human form he had in his previous life in order to attract women. He's a real ladies' man until he starts snorting, I promise.
friends. Nothing about Pig is appealing or redeeming in any way, shape or form. He's funny without meaning to be because of his clumsiness and overall sloppy behavior, but this comic relief also comes hand in hand with consequences that he'll absolutely drag anyone he's around into. Strength can grab his attention for an extended period of time, which is to say that he won't immediately ditch at the sight of food or a pretty woman. Pig respects people stronger than him, and can be good for conversation as long as it's not some hot babe. He's a fanatic of strength and chases it with a passion he rarely ever shows.
enemies. He doesn't like being told what to do. Pig accepts favors if someone will reward him for it, then takes the reward first if he's able to and ends up not fulfilling his end of the bargain. He's lazy, greedy and an overall pervert who hangs around women in hopes of catching a glimpse of their panties. If he does something, it's for his own benefit. Superheroes, villains and vigilantes could probably all fit into this category if they stuck around him for long enough.
romance. Look, Pig doesn't do love, but only because he doesn't have the faintest idea how it works. He sees a pretty woman and he's in love. Another one walks down the street in front of him and he feels the exact same way when looking at her. Pig has never been in a relationship because either his form or personality(sometimes a combination of both) is too much of a turn off for anyone to return his feelings.
plot ideas. Crack threads, Chase scenes, a run in with a villain or vigilante that's way stronger than he is. Confrontations with the law a.k.a superheroes. Pig is cursed with only being able to die via a love tragedy, thereby reincarnating and starting the whole cycle over again until the count reaches a thousand. I think it'd be hilarious if he could worm his way into anyone's heart(guy, girl or other, i'm not picky) through a series of events, like that old mangy cat that likes to claw your jeans half open when it curls up on your lap. That was a horrible analogy and I'm sorry. ):
On a different note, I'm planning a villain group themed around the 12 animals of the chinese zodiac(idea courtesy of toska!) that Pig will inevitably be a part of. Details yet to come. If anyone's interested in that just let me know via PM or post here? Up to you.
