So since I've talked, kind of, about the fact that do a LOT of painting I thought I'd post up some of my completed projects. Now mind, since no one has really asked about it, I'll have to give some explanation as to what it is I actually paint. So, I sort of play a tabletop game called Warhammer 40,000 (40k for short). It is a tactical war simulation done in the sci-fi setting of the 41st Milenium. There at least a dozen factions to choose from, and all of which have miniatures to represent their various units. These miniatures are what I assemble and paint, as the come unassembled. Think of it like a model car, only a smaller scale. I play Chaos Space Marines, the decidedly "evil" (since good and evil are extremely subjective in this setting) faction of super-soldiers. The CSM serve Chaos, or the powers of the Warp. The Warp is a realm separate from ours where it is made out of pure energy. It is unlimited potential where desires and ideas are made manifest. It is governed by the 4 Chaos Gods. Nurgle: Chaos God of filth, disease, decay, rot, rust, and stagnation. His number is 7, and is the extreme embodiment of Survival. Khorne: Chaos God of blood, skulls, combat, martial prowess, and battle. His number is 8, and is the extreme embodiment of Honor. Tzeentch: Chaos God of change, sorcery, mutation, secrets, psykers, and schemes. His number is 9, and is the extreme embodiment of Hope. Slaanesh: Chaos God of hedonism, excess, lust, greed, pleasure, and paint. His number is 6, and is the extreme embodiment of Passion. These are all the gods, and the powers they bring. Chaos, however, is not a unified faction at all. Most of the gods seek total domination over others. But, one can point out that certain ones are at odds with others more than any other. Tzeentch and Nurgle are opposed to eachother, just as Slaanesh and Khorne are. This means that they're mortal followers will also oppose eachother, unless there is a greater threat. Anyways, here are some of the units i have painted for my army. Karthix, Chaos Sorcerer of Nurgle. Bearer of the Book of Filth. Narv'a'malth, Daemon Prince of Rust and mechanical Entropy. Kal'lendos, Daemon Prince of Khorne, the Crimson Reaver. These are just a few, and I'm sure to add more here. Please, take the time to look them over and even post comments or questions. I am more than happy to respond and answer said questions.

Thought I'd give a few more. Na'Stry'thx, the Plague Engine Mhara'Gal, Word Bearers Legion, Possessed Dreadnaught Mortis, Iron Warriors Knight Titan A lot of work went into the two big guys (Na'Stry'thx and Mortis). These are some seriously big kits to put together, let alone paint. Each one of those guys stands a whopping 6 inches in height, it's a lot of plastic to paint. Mortis was even more so, since he had quite a bit of techniques I had to use...that I had never done before. The blemishing on some of the plates, the free hand stripes and chevrons, and even adding the decals, were all new things for me to do. I hope you enjoy.
