Although he was behind the bar, he was taking a break from all the hustle and bustle, watching as his workers catered to their customers. The space within was unsurprisingly wide enough to allow them to run smoothly with him simply standing there. To his left, far from the exit, someone was getting entertained with a flaming drink, manipulated by their own abilities. The 'oohs' and 'awws' were overly exaggerated in his opinion, but it started a small crowd, meaning more money for them.
He tore his attention away from them soon enough, further leaning into the counter, as he kept an eye on the rest of the area. People flickered through. Arms were tossed about shoulders, as hushed whispers were shared between them. Drinks and other snacks were ordered and delivered. Years ago, he wouldn't have even imagined having such a place.
Cracking his knuckles, he straightened his stance and he decided it was time to continue. Standing around always left him a bit restless, if not awkward.
He smiled at his latest customer.
"What would you like?"

Thirst
The one and only thing that Hades had on his mind. It was hard for him to stay with humans without some type of nourishment. His anatomy was definitely different than others and the food of the world was not enough for him to feel satisfied. Most of the drinks and nourishment at camps were strange wine and very lack lusting plates. Hades found himself in Arkham, a strange and dark looking place, something like his home which made him feel almost nostalgic. It was hard to be away from home sometimes. There are so many people on the world but for some reason he just never felt like he connected with anyone. Like no one seemed interesting enough to interact with.
In the corner of his eye he saw a strange looking bar that had a very eccentric vibe coming from it. With his interest piqued Hades found himself walking in and gravitating towards the bar. Performers breathing fire and mundanes ooing and awing at the feats. Such small feats and everyone was already so impressed. How much more if he were to revive some of the people they loved. Unknowingly he found himself at the bar and the man behind him asked what he would like and Hades was slightly caught off guard. He didn't really know what to say so instead he just asked "Do you have Ambrosia?" The drink of the gods. Made from Greece. A drink brought by doves to the gods to maintain their immortality and their power. It had been a while since he has seen it and its been a while since he has had some.

"Ambrosia?" He repeated, seeing the taste of the word on his tongue, feeling as though he'd meant more than the drink. It wasn't often ordered and, considering the company the bar usually kept, it could have meant the literal drink. The one he recalled would forever pale in comparison. His hands moved quickly behind the counter grabbing several of the ingredients.
Although it didn't have the flame like that other bartender seemed to carry, his hands seemed to disappear, working at his own time. Two types of brandy, flavored liquor, and lemon juice all placed in a nice glass of chilled champagne.
"Here you are."
He placed the drink before the man, his tone apologetic.
"Unfortunately, it fails in comparison to its namesake."

A drink was placed before Hades that intrigued him very much. It had the texture and appearance of Ambrosia which excited him. He was warned that it failed in comparison but the sight of the lovely drink intoxicated Hades already. Quickly grasping the cup he would taste the drink and immediately he was disappointed. It failed to meet his expectations which he wasn't oo suprised about. regardless of the name it was still man made. Although it was exceptional for mundane purposes it was only a fraction of the true taste of the sweet Olympian nectar.
"A shame. I had such high hopes" Hades said putting the drink down. His gaze fell on the bartender and there was something intriguing about him. Hades could already tell. Such an intriguing character indeed. "This place is uhm... interesting." Hades said trying to hide his disgust at some of the customers that looked worse than some of his vistors in the underworld. "Is thi splace yours?" Hades asked the bartender.
