Born to a modest family on the curve of the Caspian sea, Sheyda always had a mind to broaden his horizons. Throughout his academic career, from primary school to the University of Tehran, he proved to be a force of nature, possessing the charm of a saint and the inability to take ‘no’ for an answer without asking at least thrice, and then stubbornly enquiring for details as to why.

Upon graduation, he was immediately recruited to work in the capital, with the opportunity to build his way up the ladder. His loyalty to the company took him from position to position through a mixture of popularity and ruthless pragmatism, doing whatever needed to be done for the good of the company. It was only when he’d reached the board that he heard the hollow ring of their cause in his ears; to make profit. It bothered him everyday, every single board meeting, feeling every tap of his pen on the table course through his veins and make his blood boil. Through a colleague, he was informed of a position opening in North America with the opportunity to work with the fabled superheroes, sitting back and dealing with the bureaucracy to enable them to do what they do best and aid people. Make a difference.

The Initiative were so astounded by his record, he could feel them hiring him halfway through the conferenced interview, and the majority of his generous leaving package allowed him to felicitate the continental move. Adjustment to the American way of life took a while, but with some well-informed help, he was soon considered to be a key member of the Initiative’s practices, with his input on running things efficiently both as a business and as a means of control proved invaluable.

Two years into the job, and he couldn’t think of anything he would rather do. Shame about the chaotic types, be they villain or vigilante.

Sheyda frequently attends the gym as a measure to both keep himself muscular and fit, and as a means to defend himself, so he is certainly no pushover.




As per Initiative protocol, he is escorted by security personnel to most places and events for safety reasons. As a powerful memeber of the force making the city safe again, it is believed that he may be subject to villainous attempts at assassination or kidnapping. His security do their best to prevent that. (His favourite is Gustav, lovely man.)




Sheyda needs something done, and he needs it done now. Whether it is an apartment and transport at very late notice, a tweak in a very rigid schedule, or the ability to push postponed projects into gear, he can try his very best through a mixture of position, charm, and subtle, smiling threat. He is quite successful, mostly.
