Going off first impressions with Brook is probably not a good idea.

Brook is very straight forward and blunt. He doesn't like beating around the bush and prefers to get straight to the issue at hand. Of course, he's learned that this tactic doesn't work with everybody. Sometimes his blunt nature can come off the wrong way to people. He doesn't mean to come off rude or anything like that, most of the time anyway.

His humor is very dry and his comments are normally snarky or sarcastic in nature. And he can be easily irritated sometimes. However, when Brook does cross a line and realizes when he did, he owns up to his mistakes and tries to make up for it. But behind the deadpan and sarcastic nature lies a guy who's really just worried about his friends like 24/7.

There's always something in the back of his mind. He's quite the worrywart. Especially when it comes to his friends. He cares a lot about them and their well being, sometimes he can even get over protective of them. When it comes to his closest friends, Brook would fight for them without hesitation. He already protects his best friend and keeps him from getting in harm's way, or at least Brook tries to.

And despite not seeming like it, Brook is actually pretty sentimental and emotional. He just doesn't outwardly show it that much.

One would think that ice is pure and beautiful. While that may be the case for some people, it definitely isn't for Brook. His powers are infused with demonic powers, the ice that's infused can't be melted by mere mortal means. Anything holy, or demonic fire, is the only thing capable of melting it. The ice is destructive and shouldn't be touched by a human. Demonic ice is visibly different from normal ice, holding a dark color to it and being impossible to see through.


He is capable of using regular ice manipulation as well, choosing whenever the ice is infused with the demonic properties or not. Although he's not a master of either manipulation, he's capable of doing most things with it. Constructs, shields, bridges, making a icicle snowman, inducing frostbite on someone. Anything you can think of. The normal ice can melt and be melted by normal methods. He is not capable of healing himself or regenerating limbs, as he only controls it and isn't a being of ice himself.


Ice and demonic powers won't work on him. Brook has been controlling both sides of his powers for far too long to be effected by them. Attempting to freeze him, influence him via demonic powers, or even demonic illusions, won't work on him. That being said, he can be hurt by attacks using ice and demon powers. While he can't be frozen, an icicle can cut him with ease, and a actual demon attacking him would work as well.


A knight made of pure demonic ice, a icy dragon that embodies a demon, a sentient sword with demon spirit inside, a hawk sent to scout out ahead. Anything you could imagine, Brook can create and use as a pawn. They aren't completely sentient and only know to do whatever Brook tells them to do. Brook needs them to protect him? That's what they'll focus on. Need a distraction? It'll run off into a different direction.


While he isn't capable of resurrecting people completely, Brook can reanimate a spirit for a certain period of time. Similar to how the ice summons work, he gives them a ice sculpture like body to possess. The spirit can then move around somewhat freely, speak and think for themselves. However, if they stray too far from Brook or if he loses focus, the connection with the spirit can break and the body is just a block of ice. To reanimate someone, he must know the full and true name of the person and have a item that was special to them. The item is just used to draw the spirit out. This can only be done on willing spirits, spirits that have already passed on or don't wish to be reanimated can't be.


Any being that isn't holy or demonic will be hurt by touching anything infused with demonic ice. It feels like a stinging sensation and first and then slowly develops into an intense burning. The burn inflicted by the ice can't be healed by just any means and must be healed by a holy healer.


If a target is encased or trapped by the ice, the demon powers can kick in and draw out the target's greatest fears, insecurities, even memories of the past they tried to forget, and create an illusion in the ice. Brook is unable to see what the illusion is and it's only visible to the target. The illusion is specialized for each person, thus two people can't see the same illusion in the ice. If the ice is somehow broken or melted, the illusion breaks.


His abilities are capable of reaching absolute zero, whether as demonic or regular ice manipulation. He rarely uses the power and only would use it in a desperate time of need. When his powers reach the absolute zero level, it is capable of freezing anything. Objects, intangible objects such as fire and air, even cold immunity powers aren't enough to stop it. Melting the ice at this temperature is nearly impossible.
