Jack Vinland's life is about to get far more complicated.
A former member of the initiative who went "dark" (IE broke contact with his former comrades and went mostly off the grid) after the tragic death of his wife, a hero in the initiative who worked alongside him. A couple weeks before the present Jack finally arrived back in Kingsport. While he himself isn't quite sure why he came back he is back in town.
And he hasn't re-registered with the initiative. Fortunately he's been able to keep a low profile and not do any hero work, but that's about to change: hes about to get put in a situation where hes got no choice but to act, Vinland is going to be forcibly be put on the radar again. Worse still, hes not only going to have to speak with the initiative again, but face the friends he left behind two years ago.
Friends that, not knowing the whole truth of what caused his wife's death, might have a lot of questions for Jack.
Friends and Comrades: I'd like to see if anyone would be willing to have their character in the initiative (or as a civilian!) have a history with Jack. They would have had to have been around 2 years before the present. To clarify, theres a good chance they're going to find themselves in what they think could be a confrontation with Jack after they discover he was back in town and was involved in an act of heroism. The idea is that in order to bring Jack back into the initiative, they would want to send people that knew him and could talk to him, since going by powers alone he could be considered a significant threat (despite those that know him knowing better).
