Hope is known for his intelligence and athletic capabilities presented in his day-to-day activity. He also appears as a calm and sophisticated individual which often comes out as him being distant and someone who lives above the clouds. There is also a hint of coldness in his interactions keeping it purely business and professional. He rarely interjects personal opinions in his discussions. This is a result of his desire to be detached, his borderline politeness, and uncanny apathetic demeanour towards everyone without discrimination.

He really does not like conversations but, would do so if it is needed for specific situations. Once people talk to him, they would know that he is a no-nonsense person and does not like idle or small talk. Instead, he would rather choose to remain silent. Most of the times, he would simply address questions directed to him and if not he would slip away entirely to some unknown place. His indifferent mask would not be pierced whatever comments or news would be brought to him even how dire it could be. An unnerving calm which displaces people in front of him.

Although he seems cold and indifferent on the outside, he has shown compassion towards people though it is not known whether this is due to actual concern or out of pride. His actions also tethers strictly to his moral code and has always been fair. His replies and commentaries would always be concise, truthful, and untainted with malice which provides him a graceful and dignified presence. This also applies on how easy it is for him to say sweet and mushy things with a straight face without the hint of desire, flirting, or dishonesty. He also has a great sense of duty which reflects in his choices and stubbornness.

Unlike others who were born into status depending on that to gain respect and recognition, Hope gained his by his own doing which he is greatly admired for. He is also an honest person who had never spoken a lie. Although, he tends to keep secrets by staying quiet. At the same time, he does not mind being labelled or be blamed for things even terrible ones as he takes all of the consequences.

Unknown to many, there is also a frightening side of him that only few had witnessed and those who did never wanted to see or to experience it ever. After all, there is a saying that still water runs deep. He may have great skill in restricting the show of his emotions and presenting indifference. Yet, it also meant that his feelings are intimately buried inside.

Hope is the sole child of Gabriel Grace and Sophia Grace, both chairman and chairwomen and heads of the Initiative board of directors, the latter, apparently, passed away due to a traffic accident. Since he was a child, he had been raised with a strict hand to become a wonderful heir more so with his so-called mutant-gene is being tackled by his father who took pride of being pure meta-human descendant. His childhood was not terrible as his mother was there as support. But when she died, everything changed and his relationship with his father became more distant. He then learned to hide his emotions and never to get attached. It makes everything easier.

Although, going a little bit further back before her death, he enjoyed much of his childhood because of his parent long line of powerful connections. One among them is the CEO of Initiative -- college friend of his father's, who to him appears more of a father figure than his own. It's where he is introduced to another lonely kid of his age, Aiden Kaiser, who due to his circumstance landed himself in a similar position to Hope - no other children would befriend them, because of their respective parent's wealth and authority.  It has been a long time since then, that Hope might have forgotten about his childhood friend Aiden Kaiser, who he heard of, from the news, had suffered because of a specific incident that the CEO is withholding from Hope when asked about it. Respecting the man's decision, Hope then moved on, but he still remember of the only person he could call a "friend", after so many years, he probably hadn't forgotten about him.

When his father remarried, he really did not care, but when he learned of the Initiative. He decided not to let his father does what he wants. Usually, his father uses the Initiative as a negotiation tool to make Hope listen. As of now, Hope is attending Kingsport College and volunteered to be a Hero at his own preference. Of course, there are certain conditions for him to attend and be a Hero and he will uphold that bargain.

He may, with his mind, manipulate any variables, including those non-physical and more abnormal in nature. Allowing him much more influence and control than just those that only exist in the physical realm. Examples of those in the more abnormal and non-physical category includes, but not limited to: Theoretical laws, philosophical ideas, and other notions of similar nature, to which he is allowed to enable, disable, modify, or rewrite and in turn, can cause a tangible effect on all of reality in a potentially higher magnitude than simply altering cosmic phenomena.

That said, there are a couple flaws, for one example, he may accidentally cause an irreversible change if not careful, potentially causing massive damage to the variable and all of reality; the reason why he never exploit his power. However, if used proper, no end of wonders can be achieved. While any and every variable can be changed they can neither be created or destroyed by him.

He is still young and inexperienced in it's more significant uses, and he still has limitless potential for ineffable abilities. 



Result of mutation in his metahuman gene, he can adapt to any situation, automatically gaining all necessary attributes to face them. In a combat situation, he adapt himself to resist abilities, replicate and enhance them to surpass any opponents. He can recover from any damage, develop immunities to their source, even rebuild himself from scratch, and is thus indestructible.

It may be triggered in response to imminent threats as well. Presumably will activate from any probable threats, or instinctively. Furthermore, from his hypothesis, gained powers will be lost once the threat is gone; temporary power manifestations. Showing that, when compared to his mother, his power pales. She, as far as he remembered, instantly develop powers and abilities to deal with threats. With his level of control, the reactive effects is temporary at this point. In contrast to his mother who displayed permanent power and ability again. Something he hope to one day achieve.

However, what makes his version different is a specific trait: adaptation to surpass opposition. He spontaneously increase his power-level to match super-powerful entities. His adaptation applied specifically to physical parameters. Physical attributes will increase until the oppositions finds themselves absolutely outmatched, surviving and recovering from immense punishments. He, by this point, will have transcended beyond his thresholds, though it will never conclude, as that will be the beginning of his incalculable power. Exceeding the strongest beings with nothing, but force of his physical might.

When facing particularly extreme circumstances, he will transcend breaking point, his power exploding as he ascend to a new dimension. His infinite physical capacities were never limited, not by the laws of physics, not by any boundaries; he limited himself.  He is able to move and perceive at speeds that surpass all measurement. What's more, he is able to see, hear, feel and sense anything from infinitely vast galactic distances. By this point, all cosmic mass is irrelevant as his body emit infinitude force that repel object or force of any mass and magnitude.

He always possessed boundless, absolute strength; without uppermost limit.  In potential, with his inexhaustible power, he is able to effortlessly decimate all of reality with minimal force of his simplest gesture. He has near complete imperviousness to essentially all things; his invulnerability extend to harm of all forms. He does not take advantage of this, relying on a reasonable amount of his power. 


He has been told that this is an inherent ability inherited from his mother, to recall perfectly everything he had seen, tasted, felt, smelt, heard and learned even once. It is helpful with his day-to-day activities, but he finds it annoying as well. Because, he is able to remember even the things that is better off forgotten. Albeit, he uses his perfect memory, mostly, to help him study topics of his major, which is science and mathematics liberal arts that he's studying at Kingsport College.

Hope also has a natural affinity with the spoken language and matched with his nigh on flawless memory. He is able to learn and to practice different languages. He is currently able to speak 8 different languages with such native perfection and without oddity in accentuation.



Like many other wealthy heir out there, being the son of the chairman and former chairwoman of the Initiative indirectly grants him enviable privilege and ridiculously obscene wealth, barely rivalled by the Kaiser family, whose head is the current CEO of the Initiative.  His parents  already controls enough of the world's resources that the odds are pretty good that they were already indirectly Kingsport's largest creditor, and being able to openly sponsor the current government. Although, he himself sees no point in having overly fantastic wealth, if his father put the Initiative above his own blood.

While Grace prefers to turn his back to the wealth and authority; preferring to hide the fact that he is wealthy, it's there for him whenever he wish to claim it -- which is according to the conditions given by his father, because despite all their animosity-filled relationship, he is still his heir. Naturally, given his age, he doesn't get everything that he possibly wants, since authority is still retained by his father - who has yet to step down. His father primarily fund Initiative's researches and technological advancements.
