The Archangels of God. A group of ancient and noble souls whose faith was built on a misguided foundation, they were created by the being they believed to be "God" to be among the strongest of his children. Heralds to his name, the almighty intended for them to be the ultimate method of bringing all under the true order of the lord. For thousands of years the archangels performed their duties without regret or question.
Yet even Archangels can fall from God's grace. Especially when what one worships is not actually god, but an imposter. This was the truth that the four Archangels each learned one by one. Their God was not truly the lord, but a cosmic imposter. His paradise was not salvation, but merely an extension of his ego and power. The most sobering of all truths was that they were not true archangels: merely artificially created beings whose power was meant to be an extension of that lie. With that knowledge, these four false angels rebelled against their maker in a desperate attempt to right the wrongs of the past and set free those whom he had enslaved under his order.
Yet even they did not have the strength necessary to unseat the imposter "God", Demiurge. Defeated by their maker, rather than destroy his children Demiurge cast them out, sentencing them to an eternal purgatory in the void between galaxies. While it is unclear how, fate draws these condemned children of a false god to a single small planet in the universe known as earth.
So that perhaps by protecting its people, they can atone for the sins they did not know they were committing.
The Archangels
Gabriella: The eldest of the archangels created by Demiurge. Known as the "Angel of Mercy", it was her duty to keep the order of the lord both in paradise and among his kingdom in the stars. Yet it was also her who first became aware of the truth. An Elder sister to the other archangels, she is a loving and compassionate angel. While not the strongest of the four Archangels, she was feared by her fellow archangels for her swift and stern ability to correct any of her fellow archangels for misbehaving. As a result regardless of strength none of her fellow archangels dared to cross her on arguments of certain things.
Michael: The second oldest of the archangels created by Demiurge. Known as the "Angel of Wrath", it was his duty to bring the lords wrath down upon those fought against his order or attacked his realms. Tied in the title of being the "strongest" angel with his brother Uriel (with whom he holds a friendly rivalry) Michael was an angel of the battlefield. While off the battlefield he was known to be a friendly individual, he was also know to get into trouble and is the angel most frequently "corrected" by Gabriella.
Uriel: The second youngest of the archangels created by Demiurge. Known as the "Angel of the Gate", it was his duty to protect the dimensional realm of Eden and guard the gateway that lead into it, as well as assisting in the protection of Demiurge's domains outside of Eden. Holds a friendly rivalry with his brother, Uriel, regarding who is the strongest archangel. A wise angel who is perhaps a bit too focused on logic, while he is kind Uriel can be a bit stubborn at times. Played by Gear
Raphael: The youngest of the archangels created by Demiurge. Known as the "Angel of Knowledge" it was his task to control and safeguard the dimension that was Eden, as well as maintain the archives in which the knowledge of Demiurge was kept for his worshippers. Should he have found knowledge in the archives that was not supposed to be, it was his duty to expunge it. An archangel that seems to be eternally young in spirit and appearance despite his age and knowledge. Secretly was quite mischevious, especially alongside Michael, but more often than not Michael was blamed for any mischief the two got into.
