BENEDICT This is Benedict, more known as Ryou, your local dragon. He's actually an alien dragon that landed on Earth hundreds or thousands of years ago, so his superhero name is pretty straightforward. It's better than Draco, and his siblings did love anime.
FRIENDS Benedict is a cheerful amiable person. Easy for him to gather friends and he'll fawn over them and help them the best way that he can.
ENEMIES Benedict has that whole justice thing going on, though he doesn't hate his enemies. Being a good Catholic boy, he chooses to forgive them and guide them back on the right path if he can. He doesn't have a black-and-white view on the world like what most people may assume. He understands that the world is much more complicated than that.
LOVERS Very open to ideas. Sexuality doesn't matter. Benedict must have had a few crushes and maybe one girlfriend but that hasn't been his focus recently.
OTHERS This guy's a dragon. Would be neat to have other dragon aliens around. Yes, you may ride Benedict to battle. No, you can't do it just to chase after a thief. Benedict's powers allow his to change his appearance too. That has to be fun. VANOAHRT Ruler of the Haessa, Vanoahrt was a human psychic who was transformed into a weapon until he defeated his masters. He then had his people co-exist with Fomalhaut and recommended taking Earth. So yeah, it was a fellow human responsible for the invasion. And now he's come to check on things while the second expedition is on its way.
Vanoahrt lacks emotions thanks to the metamorphosis he was put through, but he still remembers them and uses the wisdom of memories on deciding how he should approach a situation.
FRIENDS I imagine he might have more allies than friends. Vanoahrt intends to protect Earth from those harming it since it's a land that's meant for Fomalhaut, so alliances would be fun since the parties nvolved would not be aware of Vanoahrt's true objective. Genuine friends would be interesting. He's quite a nice guy, though he may appear standoffish. You can see him being surrounded by birds and enjoying his peace.
ENEMIES Well, if you don't like that guy who intends to invade Earth, Vanoahrt's an easy enemy to make. That's if you know that anyway. His interventions would probably make him look like a vigilante.
LOVERS One can try. Lacking emotion and all, it would be quite a wall to conquer. Maybe partners.
OTHERS Vanoahrt's an antihero. He's nice only because it's the favorable action to do, but he won't hesitate to slaughter or betray if it's related to his interests. He does have morals but they're not well-shaped. He can be swayed; he's quite open-minded. SHAMEES Leader of the international vigilante group, From The Shadows, Shamees has come to Kingsport to support its vigilanes against the efforts othe Initiative to organize all heroes. He'll be recruiting vigilantes to his fold and make alliances with them to not only stop crimes on the street, but exposing crimes like human trafficking, drug trade, and graft and corruption.
Note: Shamees is not listed as a vigilante in the Initiative. He's still off their radar.
FRIENDS Shamees is a cool dude and goes along with most people. But he doesn't have many close friends. He usually stays distant from others and only maintains acquaintances. He would definitely have more allies than friends.
ENEMIES Shamees has no such thing as holding a grudge. You don't get along with some people. That's just the way it goes.
LOVERS Sure.
OTHERS Shamees is more of the operation type of guy and doesn't come to the actual mission often. He would delegrate tasks to the vigilantes and provide support through the coms. LEONEL A Stark of Winterfell A skinchanger - one who can enter the minds of others and control them. Leonel is new at it and is still in-training. He's a member of the From The Shadows young, vigilante team in Kingsport. He has a dire wolf named Black Fang, who can breathe out ice. Yep. Also, he's fourteen.
Note: Not listed as a vigilante in the Initiative either, though there might have been rumors of a dire wolf striking.
FRIENDS Leonel needs them! He can make friends easily but cannot open to them as well. He might be shier with senpais though though he would be more self-conscious with people his age xD There's pros and cons on both sides. But yeah!
ENEMIES Consequences make enemies, am I right? So whatever happens and boom, they become enemies....
LOVERS TEEEN AGGEEE LOOOOOVEEE
OTHERS People with similar powers! Fellow vigilante! Heroes! YEAH UH. I'M JUST BLURTING OUT STUFFS

RYOU Hi there Egao! Dragons are neat. I'm thinking that Ryou and Wildfire may have bumped into each other during their time at the Initiative? Wildfire's actually part of a cult called Spectre but no one knows that, and it's due to this that he's open to meeting/speaking with as many people within the Initiative as possible. Maybe we could grab a gazette thread, whichever happens to catch your fancy?

Or we can find some super-ranking villain to fight. wildfire - Do we go mission-esque or do something peaceful like the Spring Festival? I'm not sure how to deal with the missions yet, so you'll have to show me the ropes xD What's Wildfire's ranking as a hero by the way? Is it still S, like his villain rank? And is his powers completely revealed to the Initiative/public? 'Cause he's totally a superpowered guy and Ryou might just go, "gosh I can't believe I'm with a guy who's practically a god." wait until he finds real alien gods. The "Something Wicked Thys Way Comes #1" look neat thoough. We could grab one or two people to form a team. Though I think we have to check on others first if it's taken?

RYOU So long as we at least somewhat loosely stick with the prompt, we should be fine! I was planning on yolo'ing it myself to be perfectly honest... As for Wildfire's ranking, he's still an S-ranked hero. The Initiative doesn't have any villain files on him, and if they do, they're not associated with him whatsoever. As for the Something Wicked gazette prompt, I'm 100% down. Kat has told me that the intention of the Something Wicked prompt though was supposed to be a massive accident, something like an explosion that takes out a few blocks. Maybe they are planning on how they want to respond to the potential accident?

wildfire Ohhhh. So we can have Wildfire run into Ryou as what you suggested, they talk for a bit, then BOOM. Explosion. Then they get the message from Initiative and decide how to respond. Let's hope they actually come up with something. I can start the thread btw! I want to try anyway (probably will get to it toms or later.) It's in Kingsport, right?

RYOU Sounds like a plan! I figure it'll probably take some time for them to decide how to respond to said accident. Maybe they were both just given a rendezvous point and a password. In any case, I'd definitely consider throwing down some Renown to make the thread bigger, try to pull in more people after said accident has occurred. I'd appreciate if you started it too! I was out all day so tomorrow will be spent catching up on replies. Looking forward to this, I think it'll be a ton of fun.

Filipino friends! Alice wasn't in the 2008 alien invasion. However... her father was there, as the original Electromancer. Or his drones. He might have been doing everything from a distance, haha. I saw the plot thread about that too, though I wasn't sure if I could be allowed to portray her father in the invasion for the flashback (there's Jack's previous incarnation, but that's slightly different...)... so that's one possible thing.
...anyway, so, Benny might know the name Electromancer, and he might pick up on it when Alice announces it against a bunch of villain goons as she makes their equipment explode or something. Probably through some random stereo speakers. So Benny might be curious, aaand... I'm not sure what else could happen. Benny could poke around, and Alice could pop up in his computer for his trouble? Granted, he might not be able to help Alice that much in her quest for her and her father's killers... but friends! /makes rainbow |

Electromancer oh yes Ryou would definitely know the orgiinal Electromaner. I was just thinking about it too. He might not have had much interaction with him during the battle, but Ryou would have looked the heroes up and be like, WOAH A FILIPINO SUPERHERO! I don't think the staff would mind if we do a flashback thread on that anyway though I'm not sure if there's enough to thread them for us. At least if it's just the two of us.
We could definitely thread Ryou and Alice for sure. I think in their eventual friendship, Ryou would try to convince Alice to join the Initative. Even if she doesn't join, Ryou would help her find the killer of the original Electromancer (he would probably cry on that upon finding out that he was killed.) Do you happen to have a villain in mind for that already? Or are you still looking/thinking?
Also, do you think Ryou will be able to see Alice? Not sure about spiritual powers, but he is a magical dragon. Is that going to count? xD |

Not sure too if the original Electromancer revealed that he was a Filipino considering his secrecy, but it might have been one rare thing he revealed about himself. Yeah, might not have enough material for a thread... although I have this idea of his drones having problems with the aliens, Ryou steps in, and they talk and he might even mention how he's only almost as old as his daughter. He then asks for his help to plug a usb-thing in one of the alien's ships or something and then when they succeed a part of the alien's army falls down.
Well, of course, Alice would think about it, and even I'm not sure yet if she'll actually join the Initiative... although right now she's mostly suspicious about the group. I actually don't have a villain or organization in mind yet for those who stole the Electromancer's tech and killed him--- might post a wanted ad out for that.
As for if Ryou could see Alice... I think that's more a question you can answer, than me. If Ryou can see ghosts with the magic he has, he can see Alice. Of course, she could always interfere with comms to say hi. |

HMMM. What do you prefer? I'm actually leaning on the not-being-able-to-see-her-thing just so it wouldn't be a common stuff to happen. Ryou definitely has a cellphone so they could interact through that and whatever device is around xD What crime should we orchestrate to have them meet? Does Alice have a preference? Maybe she thought she was tracking her father's killers and Ryou happened to be apprehending those same criminals? |

Yeah, it is kinda inspired by that bit in the Avengers, hahaha. If it isn't too much, we could thread it!
But yeah, beyond the flashback idea... lemme quote my first post in this thread...
So, to elaborate... there is an armed bank robbery in... I think I need to know the setting more. Wherever banks are in Kingsport. Now, since Alice usually can't do much against goons, and local law enforcement usually handles it, she does the usual using somebody else's phone to call the cops... and then the goons reveal that they have high-tech stuff (drones? Iron Man-style suits?) and so, she thinks, "I can do something about this!" So, yeah, cue using speakers, locking the bank's safe, and then causing malfunctions all over... and of course Ryou comes when she's using the speakers. Maybe the goons reveal their high-tech stuff because Ryou has arrived, or something.
So, of course, her bragging speech reveals to Ryou that it's the Electromancer doing the tech malfunctions, although he'll probably be puzzled that it's a girl's voice who's shouting, and when the goons and high-tech stuff are all down and done he could maybe look for the Electromancer, maybe say something about "Where are you?", even though he probably knows the original Electromancer can be very distant when he interferes, and Alice kinda takes that as an invitation to pop in his phone and say hi. Sounds good? |

Hmm so bank robbery involving criminals with access to high level of technology? Okay, I think I'm getting it. Ryou probably responded since he's in the scene or something. He would definitely take interest if it's a person claiming to be Electromancer. The thread would probably be in Innsmouth where the banks are.
I would prefer if we only thread either one of them first though. Either the flashback or this, since I can't handle too many threads at once xD Anyway, would you prefer to start it, if ever? I've read some of your posts. You're really nailing the whole technological technicalities so I'm a bit worried on how I could pull off the details as well as you xD
If we're going to do the flashback thread, I'm going to have to lay down my headcanons on Fomalhaut now that Ruler has been accepted...

And I'm going to bump this again since I have a new character! Plot with Ruler, the immortal psychic who was responsible for Fomalhaut's invasion of Earth! He's a mutant, born human, but kind of lost his humanity in space. He's surprised to see so many villains in Earth and he's like, "WELL. WE CAN'T INVADE EARTH IF EARTH IS DESTROYED" so he's a villain that wouldn't mind teaming with the good guys to save the day. He's not going to tell you what he's really in the planet for tho. |
