There was naught a place more rich in culture than Sentinel Hill. And she decides that she wanted to live there. So she did; callously hiding herself behind a fake surname that Hades had made himself in an attempt to rectify their already solid marriage. So now, in this new life, it meant she was taken by him. As a spouse. As a wife.
And she couldn’t away from that. But the sweet scent of lavender tickling her nose made her thoughts pacify, and finally she notices her surroundings.
It looks like a jungle in here, someone had once said. Persephone prided herself upon her abilities, no matter how weak they were. She was still the princess of fauna, and undoubtedly the Queen of the Underworld.
That last bit makes her smile to herself, just a bit.
Her shoppe was covered floor to ceiling in roots. Trees grew from the walls and hung their vines low and bore all sorts of fruit. Flowers nestled in groups of their respective species on the counters and grass was soft under the foot of any passerby that decided to explore this mystical place. Persephone stood tall and erect behind the counter, hair tied in a high ponytail and what was not bound flowed elegantly down her back. A cup of coffee sits to her left. Behind her all sorts of coffee beans, creamers, and sugars awaited to be used. A flower shop masquerading as a miniature café made the place all the more appealing to the eyes.
She enjoyed talking to the visitors, but at times like this one, she found herself all by her lonesome. That never really affected her as much as it did to others. She had a few library books under the counter to pass the time and had a bit of cleaning to do — it was best to be busy instead of idle.

Unseen by the eyes of the populace, she drifted down the road, like an ignored tumbleweed. Sometimes, it felt much more comfortable to just stay in the internet, where she at least had the company of people chatting and posting in various ways (although of course there were the trolls, but that was a different story altogether, and sometimes it was fun to troll them back when you can get into their computers). Still, she felt she had to remember the outside world, the breathing, living world, the world she had been part of, even if it did not always remember her.
Perhaps it was by whim or by fate, or perhaps a little of both, but she found her eyes drifting into what seemed at first glance to be a flower shop. She floated towards its door and passed through, and found herself suddenly in a forest, in a garden--- it was almost jarring in its beauty. She did not expect something of this sort to be indoors, here in Sentinel Hill, although of course each locale had little secrets. It felt like a peace of nature had come to live within the confines of the civilization. The flowers were bright and the fruit was tempting... but at the same time her awe was tinged with sorrow, for she could not smell nor taste such things. Such was the curse of her continued existence.
She turned to look at the counter, where a beautiful woman was, alone. Perhaps she was the owner of the establishment. She probably couldn't see her, but she supposed she would pay her respects, at least for the wonder that was her store.
"Good day. Thank you for having me here." she said, fully expecting to be unheard. Perhaps she would linger a little more here...
persephone (...I think you mean flora, not fauna, since fauna are animals. And maybe more consistent tenses? Please don't hate me for my inner grammar nazi >.>)
