If you head inside of Little Dublin in Sentinel Hill, and follow MacDonnel Road, eventually you'll get to a place that runs parallel to the railway tracks. Due to the location and noise of the expresses and passenger trains, this area has low property values. Fortunately, for two brothers the noise doesn't bother them that badly. Why should it bother a pair of mechanics that worked on cars for a living? No matter. The eldest one loved trains anyways, the sound lulled him to sleep at night and helped him focus during the day.
Their place is 119 MacDonnel Road, a large building with a large garage on the first floor and two upper levels that were refitted into living spaces. There's a basement there too, but most of that is filled up with parts that they need to do their job. The actual title the place has is Fuller Auto Repairs, named aptly after William and Alex Fuller, the two proprietors of the establishment. Normally, business is pretty steady, considering all of the chaos that occurs in Kingsport, but today has been a strangely slow day.
While Alex decided to see if he could get the old grill to work again, William was busy sitting on a stool in the garage, spinning his four foot spanner as he watched the latest news. Of course superheroes and villains were involved, but could they please quit kissing the Initiative's ass? Geez... William groaned and took the remote and tried to flip it to another channel. Same song, same dance, different instrument playing the verse. Good lord, when was this going to end? He flipped the channel again and decided to watch the weather channel. Maybe that would bring about something different than superhero- Oh great the weather's unpredictable and you're blaming it on heroes too. Terrific.
"Yo, Will, throw me a hammer!" Alex said as he peeked in through the door. William turned around from his disgruntled chair with a slight scowl on his face. His eyes lit up when he saw his brother almost completely covered in black soot. "Dang, has it been that long since we used the grill? You look like you dove headfirst into a coal mine!" Alex shrugged. "Yeah... Apparently we forgot to clean out the leftover coals. Got it all over my face. Anyways, pass me a hammer. There's a dent I need to get out." William got up and threw the spanner into the air as he walked to the toolbox. HE opened the drawer, grabbed the tool, and then grabbed the spanner behind him as he shut the drawer back. William handed the hammer to the little brother. "Alright, do that and then clean your face off. I'll be in here and I'll call for ya if a customer comes, alright?" Alex shrugged and walked away with the hammer. "Whatever. Channel 26 doesn't have Super News on, if you were wondering." William hurried back to his stool and flipped it to 26. Oh god... It was worse than the news... IT WAS A SOAP OPERA! He shut off the TV and could hear Alex laughing in the background. Bastard... Oh wait that's his brother he's thinking about calling bastard.

Maintenance Is Key! Today was bound to be a great day, and you know what that meant? With every great day came great fun, or at least that's how Tink imagined it. And no way was she about to change her philosophy now, not on a beautimus day like this! As she reached one of the steeper hills of Little Dublin, traffic was flowing smoothly, causing a devious grin to spread across the face of the Mad Woman. A single black and white checkerboard Van was pressed against the pavement, the other making sure her newest invention didn't run away from her. Most would simply call it a Hoverboard, but oh nooooooo, this was no hoverboard, it was something much cooler, much more fun! While current engineering had only made it to push hoverboards about the speed of a skateboard, this creation aptly dubbed by Stephie as the, "It's !Litboard!" could push a steady three hundred or so miles per hour with little issue. It would be a tool for those who were REALLY into extreme sports.
But she wasn't some pansy wuss who would just let someone else test out her own invention before she did as she wasn't that kind of gal. Not to mention she wanted all of the satisfaction of saying she would risk killing herself over her creation! Looking down at the virtual display of the It's !Litboard! on THE DEVICE, that was held on her right wrist, she looked over the schematics of her design once more as she yelled, "FLAWLESS!" causing a bunch of Irishmen to look at her as perplexed as people generally did. Attempting to mimic her A.I. systems voice she said in her poor British accent,"I need the estimates on the train mate? If ya don't have the answers ya can piss off. And crumpets." Giggling to herself, she continued, And also find me the answer to what a crumpet is", as she had no idea what exactly it was, she had just heard the word somewhere before. Groaning the system complied with its creators wishes as it spoke gently from THE DEVICE "The train will pass the intersection you require in approximately twenty-seven seconds, plus or minus a second or two. Ma'am, are you sure this is a good idea, I'm rather concerned about your safety on this one. The readouts-"
Cutting Ash off Tinker spat, "I'M NOT SURE ABOUT ANYTHING! But that's the point Ashley, RISK! Risk are fun. Dun worry, you worry to much. Put you worries in a sack and throw 'em down the chimney, Santa." Ashley (the A.I) didn't even bother responding back and instead started giving her inventor the definition of a crumpet, causing her to lick her lips as she placed her other foot on the board. Righting herself, she looked back at the oversized engine attached to the floating board as she placed her goggles over her eyes. It was about to be lit. Giving the right pedal a bit of 'gas', pink flames erupted from the back of the gadget, as she said to Ash, "LEZ GO SEE THE FULLER'S, WHEEEEEEEEE!" The digital being sulked for a moment, but it didn't matter, Tink had already made up her mind (with little thought to it, and was off to the races). She had actually managed to kill more time talking to her A.I. than she could have allowed, and by the calculations of Ashley, she wouldn't make it over the tracks. Fun! Putting the pedal to the metal, the It's !Litboard! took off with a fantastic burst, as the daredevil lowered her body and held her arms out to the side, the wind blowing her hair back profusely as she weaved crazily thru traffic.
Hurdling/Ollie'ing over vehicles, the contraction moved faster and faster, as the woman put her left foot under the board, flipping it to the side as she jumped, before landing on the board which was sideways. The thin foot space that she had to work with was more than enough, as she balanced herself, squeezing between two cars as she laughed maniacally. Righting the !Litboard! as she glided between them, her eyes fell upon the train. She wouldn't make it. OR WOULD SHE?? She definitely would, at least that's how she imagined things would go. Her invention wouldn't fail her, nothing she ever thought of did. Responding to her wishes not to be smashed by a train, the board gained even more speed, as the flame at the back grew so monstrous that it was leaving people nearest her covered in soot as she blew by, much to their dismay. Oh it was going to be clooooose! As she said aloud, "Oh it's going to be clooooooose!" Giggling, as she bent low to jump the railway, the train about to scream by as she launched herself in the air.
Closing her eyes, she pretended to be a soaring bird in the sky, a day dream that came to an end as the train snagged only a small portion of the engine, yet it was enough to A.) tear a couple of the pipes off, and B.) send Tink spiraling thru the air. Somehow she was still managing to chuckle about the situation, as her arms flapped violently. As she spiraled and tumbled where gravity couldn't reach her, she screamed as she flew,"LOOK ASHLEY, FULLER'Z!" And it appeared she was heading right towards the building, how grand! Closing her eyes once more, the woman prepared for impact, as she flew thru the roof of the Auto Body Shop, creating a Tinker sized attic where there wasn't one before. As her body hit the ground, the air was jolted out of her body, bones shattering as she continued to bounce, blood spewing from her mouth due to all the blunt trauma. As her body skipped like a rock across water, she tumbled out of a window, landing in a pile of twisted death on the back lawn of the brothers house.
As her body lay mangled on the ground, her neck was the first thing to spin back around, green eyes popping open once more as she returned to life, the scars erased from her face and her teeth began to grow back. Lifting up THE DEVICE she said, "Whoa Ash, 10 out of 10, good action! Wheeeeee!" Throwing her twisted arm up, it began to right itself as well, snapping into place as she thought about where her board went. She didn't have to tell Ashley, as she was already both scouring the mechanical wreckage to steer it to the shop, as well as deleting and tampering with all the cameras that may have seen Tink and her contraption. Yelling from their backyard she said, "IS THIS FULLERZ AUTO REPAIRS? I HAVE A VEHICLE THAT NEEDS REPAIRING!" Everything was working out just as she had imagined it, as now she actually had a reason to be there...at least in her mind. By time the two arrived she would be back in one whole piece again.
❁ Full ThrottleTLDR: She invented a hoverboard, is testing it by jumping the train near you house. Tailpipes of the hoverboard get clipped by the train, sending her flying. She crashed thru the roof of the auto shop, before tumbling out a window and landing in your backyard. She's currently healing, but she'll be 100% before either of you make it back there. ^_^

The train was driver was really confused at what he could have hit, but he didn't have any time to stop. The cargo HAD to be delivered on time. That was the engineers' way. After all, it was probably just a pigeon or something, right?
KERTHUNK-Crack-SHATTER... THUD, CRACK... All followed by a sound of a girl... Cheering? Both Fuller brothers had heard this, and this had happened right after Alex FINALLY had fixed the grill and headed inside to wash his face off. Of course, William was still angry about his brother pulling such a cruel trick on him, but the sudden noise made him jump up from his stool and run towards the backyard. William was currently under the impression that Alex had done something, even though most of the time, it was him that did all the wrong things...
Alex had finished drying his face when the event occurred. Had Will done something to cause considerable damage again? Either that, or the grill had blown up... But that would have made an exploding sound, right? He shut off the water and rushed down the stairs towards the backyard, and after opening the door, he ran out towards the backyard.
The mere idea of a backyard is something along the lines of there being a bit of grass, perhaps a flower garden or two, maybe even a swing set. The idea of a backyard DID NOT include the idea of a few old cars that looked beyond repair scattered across the small lot of land with various metal bits and pieces and a bit of overgrown grass that made it SEEM like a modest backyard. On top of that, normal backyards didn't have a person that simply crashed through the roof of the building, fly through the window, and land in the backyard and be discovered to be perfectly okay. Now this was a site to behold.
The elder Fuller looked up at the hole in the window and looked back at the girl. He then looked at the window, and back at the girl. Again he repeated the process, BUT THIS TIME, he was scratching his head. He then simply stared at the girl and tried to get his hair out of one side of his face. "How did you... You know what, I'm not gonna ask, this is Kingsport we're talkin' about..." He said this with a southern drawl, obviously his very own accent and not something he was forcing himself to do. Although that would seem a little odd in a place like Little Dublin, wouldn't it?
The younger Fuller was more worried about the girl. As soon as he saw the girl in the yard he ran over towards her and stopped dead in front of her with wide eyes. "Oh my god, are you okay? What the hell happened? Why are you- W-wait a minute... Aren't you Stephanie Martinez? The racer and founder of Tink technology?! What are you doing here at our little shop?!"
Will had a much more blunt approach to this whole fiasco. "Alex, you can stop fangirling, y'know. After all, she did say that she needed us to fix up a vehicle. Although... I'm not too sure where it is, Miss Martinez, was it?" A small grin appeared on his face as he offered her his hand to shake. "Name's William Fuller. That's my brother Alex. And yes, you did crash through Fuller Auto Repairs and landed in our backyard scrapyard." A train passed by and gave a long whistle as it passed by the shop.

Maintenance Is Key! Steph couldn’t help but let out a childish giggle as the older Fuller looked back and forth between herself and the window. Covering her mouth with her tight-fitted gloved finger she grabbed both of the men as she pulled them close into a huddle of sorts as she whispered, “I hope you Fuller’s got full insurance, ‘cause ya know, that’s certainly not going to be a cheap repair.” Relinquishing the boys from her grasp, she continued her spurt of laughter that was halted by the question of if she was was her. Scratching her head, she looked up at the sky, placing her free index finger on her chin as she replied, “Hmmmmm, I think so! Unless I’ve changed to someone else in the last couple of minutes. Ashley, am I still me??? OH GOD, WHAT IF I’M NOT ME?!”
The Artificial Intelligence heaved a low sigh as Tinker abruptly began to roll around on the ground, in an attempt to get the other person out of her. The British voice rang out in annoyance, “Ma’am, you’re still you. You can get up now. Please try and act with some dignity.” As she stopped her rolling, the crazed woman quickly hopped to her feet again as she mocked Ashley’s last sentence with a juvenile baby voice. However a toothy grin spread across her face as she said with elation, “I AM Stephanie Martinez. The best, most awesomeist, most epic, winningest driver the world has ever seen! And I am also the founder of Tink Technologies, that makes the most awesomeist, most epic, most functionest technological and mechanical items the world has ever seen! AND YOU ARE FULLERZ!”
As the elder Fuller placed his hand out, Tink assumed since he had a southern accent that he was from the deep south. Not a bad assumption, not a bad assumption at all. And based off the old movies, when a deep southerner tried to give you a handshake they had customs, customs that the dark haired woman just couldn’t ignore. Digging deep within her throat, the woman hacked up a loogie before spitting it in her hand and rubbing them together. Grabbing both of their hands, she rubbed her spitty gloved palm against there’s as she mused, “Wellllllllll, Fullerz, as you know I am a very charitable person! Every thing that I do for the community and those whom are disabled, I do so free of charge. My original purpose for my dank arrival was actually because in the SPIRIT OF CHARITABLE GIVING, Tink Technologies, I.E. mahself, has decided to sponsor Fuller Auto Shop! Yayyyyyyyy!”
Clapping her small hands together, she jumped up and down with elation, more than any adult should have. Though it came to an abrupt end as he eyebrows furrowed and she looked back and forth from both of them before pulling them into the football huddle again. “But before I put millions of dollars towards a mechanic shop, DESPITE it being the dankest dream EVER. There is tale of a vehicle so complex, so ridiculously dank that only the creator could fix it. Wiring SO sophisticated that no mere mortal could understand it regardless of the mechanical skills they possessed. With computer systems SO COMPLEX that there is no diagnostics machine that could actually run it. Now I ask you Fullerz…are you gaise goin’ to be the gaise who put the legend, the dark mythos, the TERRIFYING EVENTS OF FUTURE PAST, to rest? The choice….is yours!” Freeing them from her ominous speech, she looked around in a lost manner before she pointed to the injured hoverboard that had managed to limp its way into the backyard, the pieces that had broken off on top of the board part, smoke being generated in large amounts, as it made a strange sound...almost like it was coughing like an old man. A mysterious fluid was leaking from the nose as Tink began to clap again.
It was just how she had imagined it. By not completely making the jump, she now had the ability to give the mechanics a test worth actually having before she just made it rain on them. Pointing at the device she said, “Now, all ya gotta do to make it rain is ta fix the !ItsLitboard! And ya totes got it. I want to give you this money soooooooooooooo….soooooooooooooo….SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad, but I simply cannut if you don’t have the mechanical aptitude to warrant it. I HAVE FAITH IN YOU FULLERZ, HAVE FUN!” Throwing up her arms, the woman flailed her arms in the backyard as she went to go pick up random pieces of metal before sitting on the ground and starting to play make believe with them. One would have never thought that she had just literally fallen out of a window a couple minutes ago, or that she was twenty. ...or that she was at someone's else's place of business and just messing with their stuff. But she couldn't help it, the tinkerer in her just couldn't ignore scrape. Maybe she'd get a brilliant idea while she was here, maybe one of the Fuller's could help!

| Alex couldn't believe his ears. First, not only was the one and only Stephanie Martinez here... In Little Dublin... IN THEIR BACKYARD, but she was also going to DONATE MONEY TOWARDS THEIR SHOP?! Alex trembled and sat down on the tiny deck behind the shop. "W-we c-could buy the property next door and expand... We could hire more mechanics... Hell, we could even open up more subsidiary businesses in different parts of town! We could take this thing global, Will!"
Will, on the other hand, had finished shaking hands and discreetly washed the spit on the back of his jumpsuit. "Yeah and we could also fix that hole Stephanie made in our house. Now then... What's this we have over here... A hoverboard? Well at least it isn't one of those ones where the battery explodes..." He picked it up and examined all of the pieces with it. "Excellent construction, definitely... Hit with a force of about... 65 MPH? Wait a minute..." He looked up at the sky for a little bit and started mouthing some words before looking over towards Stephanie. "HEY THAT'S THE AVERAGE SPEED THAT THE TRAIN GOES AT THIS TIME! YOU MEAN TO TELL ME YOU GOT HIT BY A TRAIN, CRASHED THROUGH THE ROOF, WENT THROUGH THE WINDOW, AND LANDED IN THE BACKYARD AND ARE PERFECTLY OKAY?!" Honestly, he wasn't mad. He was just in shock and awe. He was actually impressed. "J-just... Wow. Okay, I mean you're a big shot and all of that, but seriously... You didn't have to do something that ridiculous to break it. Are you sure all of the parts are here? Or that you didn't get a few too many?"
Alex was suddenly confused by all of this. "WILL DO YOU NOT REALIZE WHAT SHE JUST SAID?! WE COULD BE RICH, Y'KNOW! Just think of the possibilities... The world would be ours! Also, who cares if she just crashed through our house! You need to fix the hoverboard or whatever as soon as possible! You're a complete wiz at stuff like that, y'know! Anyways, Stephanie, can you tell me more about your racing career?! That whole thing was awesome!"
Will had picked up the items and sighed before hearing his brother talk about what he planned to do with the money and ask the customer about her racing career. He shrugged as he headed inside towards the garage. The hoverboard seemed a bit foreign to him, but the basic mechanics of it made sense as far as how it operated. A small voice in the back of of his head urged him to use the power... but then that would defeat the purpose wouldn't it? He carefully began to lay out the various tools on the workbench and separated all of the broken pieces from each other. A bit of soldering would have to be done here, a bit would have to be soldered there, a new screw was needed there, and so on and so forth. He suddenly turned towards the door. "Hey, Stephanie, what kind of fuel does this thing take? Standard gasoline, diesel, electric?"

Maintenance Is Key! Stephie's head nodded feverishly as towards the things that Alex was saying, as she continued to play make believe with the old car parts that had met their in the graveyard of cars. Why didn't anyone bury this muffler? She assumed that it should have a proper burial service, for to not have one almost felt wrong! Her bottom lip poked out as she began to claw up a bit of dirt, before placing the muffler in its tomb and covering it up once more. As she did this, the woman said, "YEP! Lil' Fullerz is right ya know! Ya could do all that stuff. AND, you could buy a really big pool for customers to sit in while they wait. I mean, everyone loves a mechanic pool party right?!" As she completed her statement, she did her best rendition of a splashing sound, before marching a rusty fuel pump over to the grave of his former lover, muffler. Screaming out in agony in the voice of fuel pump, Tinker bellowed to the heavens, "WHHHHHHHHY! WHY DID YOU TAKE HER?!" Patting fuel pump on his back, she marched him away before turning to look at the eldest Fuller as he questioned her antics.
Giggling slightly, she nodded at him with a toothy grin on her face as she replied, "Well ya know, tuckin' and rolling does a whooooooole lot of good. I mean people don't get injured from stuff like that every day, am I right or wheeeeeet? But ya know, I think ya got it backwards dewd! I don't think anything is rid-i-cu-loooous as long as you're having fun doing it. Ya just gotta do it man! JUST DO IT!" Hopping up from the ground, her excitement peaked for a moment as she looked around for the next stunt she could possibly engage in before her concentration on being crazy was interrupted by the big Fuller questioning if all of the pieces to her contraption was there. She of course knew that Ashley would never forget anything, as she knew as much about Tink's ingenious designs as the woman herself did! Nonetheless she turned to face William as she lifted up her right wrist, the three dimension of THE DEVICE interface popping up as she tapped buttons on the screen with her left hand.
Bringing up the file that held the design of the It's !Litboard!, a digital layout of the mechanical piece of technology popped up, as she spread her fingers apart in an outward motion across the display. All the time her tongue had been hanging out of her mouth in the corner of her top lip, as the hologram of the hoverboard broke into several hundred individual pieces. Looking at the board, and then at the display, it didn't take her but a second to know that all the parts were accounted for as she bellowed, "Yep! That's everything!" Closing the page, her face began to glow as she had forgotten all about the widower fuel pump and strode over towards Alex as he asked about her career. It was no mystery, Stephanie looooooooved attention, well at least genuine attention, though she had a hard time discerning the difference. So when asked by someone who appeared to be a really huge fan she began to glow!
A smile spread across her face once more as she replied, "It was freakin' gnaaaarly! It was thrilling! Cars blowing up all around you (Insert explosion sound here)! People crashing (Insert the sound of tires screeching here)! WINNING THINGS (A terrible attempt to mimic crowd sounds here) -!" She paused for a moment as her grin switched to something a bit more meager as she continued, "But I think I was just to good. As some guy person who likes racing, I'm prettttty sure you know my record. The record of never freakin' losssssing! So I got into something harder, something a bit more difficult and fun! Helping people! People like you gaise." The smile returned to her face as she lit up once more, as Will asked questioned her from within the shop about her contraption. Bouncing inside the building she replied, "All of 'em! And wind! It's basically a self-powering piece of machine that recycles its own energy and fuel so ya only have to pay for it once! ANNNNNNNNNNND, it's clean energy, so no environmental harm."
As she said she, she noticed a wrench on the workbench that caught her attention as she began to stride over towards it to mess with the mechanism that made it adjustable. She loved that part of the wrench.

Alex was listening intently to everything Stephanie was saying, as well as chuckling to himself about the fact that she had portrayed so much emotion in that muffler. "I ain't exactly sure why Will keeps those things back here. I keep telling him that he should organize the stuff back here but he likes to mess around with it all and create stuff." Alex shrugged at that and followed Stephanie inside. "Hey do you two need somethin' to drink? I have some fresh lemonade in the fridge, water... That sort of thing. I'd be happy to bring it to ya. Sorry I can't help out, Will. If it ain't an automobile, I don't know squat about it."
As he heard them discuss the backyard and the poor muffler, William silently prayed that they wouldn't do anything drastic with that piece. It was incredibly important for his other hobby. Then again, he'd probably need to clean it again later today. A sigh of relief escaped his lips when the two of them came inside. Hopefully they wouldn't disturb that place anymore. Actually, now that he thought about it, what would he do with the money? Alex had really wanted to branch out to Arkham and open up a garage there, but honestly that place would be far too dangerous. Little Dublin was perfectly fine with him. And, if they bought the buildings next door, they could probably expand it a little bit and install some much needed lifts to check the undersides of the cars without using the rollers.
While he thought about that, William was busy piecing various pieces together, applying some solder on various things here and there on the impacted pieces, readjusting the bent metal, and fitting in some screws. "I'll take some lemonade, Alex. Also, I think I have this puppy figured out, Stephanie." William was making several connections with the overall mechanical pieces and working on a bit of circuitry as he went along. Despite its semi-futuristic make, the main set up of the hoverboard was pretty easy to go along with, despite what Stephanie had said. Well, it was easy for him. He noted the wrench Stephanie had picked up. "That mechanism is probably one of my favorites too. It's so mesmerizing."
Now, William couldn't help but wonder how she figured out how to design such a thing. Well, also the fact that she had survived a train running into her and launching her through the roof- That was going to have a terrible draft later. But as for the hoverboard, this was something that seemed to come straight out of Back to the Future. He turned towards her as he fitted the pieces back together. "So, how did you piece this all together? Something like this is what some engineers could only dream of creating! But just this design... It's amazing. Definitely a lot better than some of my creations." He had almost completed the hoverboard now. He just had a few more pieces to fit together...
