Hey guys, I'd like a little help with a plotline of mine.
Essentially put I need a few people who are willing to make or join a team of people dedicated to taking down the Illuminati. Azrael's gonna be heading up the main group's plans of action, but the rest is totally up to you guys how you wanna fill these roles.
The basic premise is that the current Illuminati have taken a direct interest in the death of Azrael for creating a near limitless energy source. He's been hounded and hunted by the organizations ever since. So now he's in Kingsport seeking clues for where they are, and he's not too picky about the people who are gonna help him find this organization.
The Private Investigator: Someone good with computers, extremely intelligent, and has a great sense of organization to help out with researching information into the Freemasons.
Underworld Connections: Ideally someone who has good intentions but works in the element of the criminal underground. Wealthy, enigmatic, charismatic, but overall a decent person.
Liaison to the Initiative: Essentially someone that can be trusted to keep a secret but ultimately be able to bridge communications between the rest of the current group and the Initiative. It's gonna be pretty important later on.
Other Suggestions: I am actually really open to ideas at this point since I haven't gotten anything down on plan yet. But otherwise, the end goal is to overthrow them and do a better job of managing the world from the shadows.
The group will be eventually taking over the role of the Illuminati and creating a New World Order. I just wanted to see if there are people interested in this type of plot. You don't have to accept that particular role, but help along the way would be really great!

yo physis has a network of Shady Vigilantes Who Hear Things (she doesn't control them, but she can call in favors + word on the street when she needs) + more money than she could ever hope to finish spending in one lifetime (billionssss). let's talk plot? what's the current illuminati up to? why should physis care?
i'm interested in the idea of a new world order kind of plot. physis may or may not be (leaning not atm depending on how tyrannical it sounds), depending on how azarel sells the idea + how trustworthy he is.

I've written up about the Illuminati on the GG Encyclopedia if you are interested in it. But to summarize, they've been responsible for a significant amount of atrocities all for the sake of progress of the human race. French Revolution (Scientific Progress), the two worlds wars (Fordist Production and Nuclear Power), the Vietnam Wars (Televised Movement and Mainstream Aviation), the Cold War (Information Warfare and the creation of the Internet and the Computer) and currently the issues of ISIS and ISIL can all be traced to the fluctuations of human culture instilled by the Illuminati.
As for why Physis would trust Azrael or why you should be invested in joining this plotline, well I don't think I have any guarantees that Physis will be interested aside from being able to take control of entire sectors of the world at large. This is a plotline I'm personally invested in and it'd be nice for you to join, though.
Azrael wants to put this group into justice, but doesn't realize the exact depth required to reach them as of yet. Right now, he just wants his name cleared from law and for people to stop hunting him, so he's on a personal journey, but this is going to affect Earth at large. Ultiamtely he wants to make the world a much better place, and he doesn't think that progress requires immense suffering at the hands of megalomaniacs to achieve progress.
