[attr="class","plot_header"]THE RESOLUTIONISTS
[attr="class","group_plot"]
[attr="class","desc"]vigilante brotherhood
[attr="class","text"]The Resolutionists are a group of vigilantes who primarily work out of Arkham and Sentinel Hill (for now). They are called such because they deliver 'resolutions' to loose ends that would otherwise go unanswered. Their activities are more public than either the Freemasons or From the Shadows: the idea is that career villains and casual criminals would know that their actions will not go without repercussion. Unbeknownst to members besides the leadership, the group is secretly funded by the profits from Oricon.
Members can choose to work independently or in chosen groups. The idea is that there will be support for their vigilante activities whenever they require it.
If you are interested in submitting your character for Hand membership, then they need to have an IC thread with physis . She is not looking for power level or specific personalities: rather, the requirements are that Hand members should be competent, loyal, and their intentions should be in the right place.
All members are (at least officially) guaranteed a right to their civilian identity. Giving out a vigilante's civilian identity to anyone without their express permission is a violation of conduct. All Resolutionists are expected to cover for each other's identities. This is to ensure that members can choose to leave the organization for civilian life whenever they wish, though they will have to return the pin.
The Resolutionists do not accept members under 18 years old at this time.
Members are also granted access to the Resolutionists' highly encrypted information server. The general vine is viewable by any member, but veteran knowledge dictates that the best information comes from making friends with specialized circles. After all, those who investigate arsons would have very different information from those who investigate kidnappings. Nobody is required to use the server, and those who fear leaks don't.
Those on the blacklist are essentially treated the same as criminals, and the Hand will often provide rewards for those who take care of the problem. Formal inquiries can be directed at the Hand, as the list can be revised in cases of error.
[attr="class","subheader"]the modus operandi.
In contrast to the Initiative, the group is extremely decentralized. Membership in the brotherhood is represented by a gold pin the size of a fingernail, which guarantees the vigilante access to basic services provided by the Hand. Beyond that, the group is extremely egalitarian: if you want access to more vigilante services, then you have to network and make friends among your compatriots. One could argue that the true princelings within the Resolutionists are those who have accumulated fame by charisma and good works. Members can choose to work independently or in chosen groups. The idea is that there will be support for their vigilante activities whenever they require it.

The only real authority is a group of five known as the Hand. They act as active recruiters for the Resolutionists; any member can recommend their associates, but they are the ones who are authorized to bestow membership pins. They also investigate foul play within the network and determine the current blacklist of the organization. Internal disputes are also settled by members of the Hand.If you are interested in submitting your character for Hand membership, then they need to have an IC thread with physis . The only requirements to join the Resolutionists include: a commitment to a low civilian body count, loyalty to their fellow compatriots, and the contribution of one safehouse in Kingsport/Arkham (though exceptions can be made for those without means). This safehouse can be their current place of residence, and will be used for individual emergencies. The Hand provides specific buildings in the case of general Resolutionist crises.All members are (at least officially) guaranteed a right to their civilian identity. [attr="class","subheader"]benefits.
Besides moral support, members have a right to access any Resolutionist safehouses in the city in times of trouble. The organization itself provides underground laboratories, medical facilities, and training grounds (in the works) to all of its members. These facilities hold the most cutting-edge Oricon hardware, which include drones and nanotechnology. There is also funding available for any vigilante projects that require capital, as long as they're willing to submit a proposal to the Hand. As long as your idea is a good one, the Hand's financial resources seem infinite.Members are also granted access to the Resolutionists' highly encrypted information server. [attr="class","subheader"]the blacklist.
The Resolutionists have only one hard and fast rule: don't get other members or innocents killed. There are only so many 'accidents' that the Hand is willing to forgive, and those who flaunt these rules are subject to the Hand's blacklist. It is primarily made up of those who have betrayed the Resolutionists' secrets, as well as vigilantes whose civilian body count have reached unacceptable levels. The blacklist is usually a last resort for the Hand, since members are expected to police each other for decent conduct. Those on the blacklist are essentially treated the same as criminals, and the Hand will often provide rewards for those who take care of the problem. Formal inquiries can be directed at the Hand, as the list can be revised in cases of error.

The Twin Bison Gym building posseses a seperate basement area, only accessible through a hatch door around the back of the lot. It was used to store equipment, but since starting a vigilante career, it has become increasingly populated with basic living amenities for discreet recovery. The door code is open to resolutionist members who ask for it, but you are not allowed to hang around the gym itself. A man's gotta have boundaries.
