| CLAIRE ARAKI, aka “Katakana”
-She’s an aspiring author of many comic books and has already been published and well received. Constantly praised for being bold in a time where superheroes are all the rage, her works include comics such as Unlucky Lot, Unjust, and Blue Light. Despite her work being praised by a majority of people for the beautiful art style, engaging story, and amazing characters, there still stands a number of people that dislike her work since, for a majority of the time, the heroes never win and the villains always kill the heroes. In a day and age in which superpowers are all the rage, this doesn’t settle well with other people.
-Her alter ego, Katakana, is nothing more than the other side of the same coin. Katakana is on a path for vengeance, wanting to get rid of superheroes simply so that children don’t have the disappointment of realizing that their heroes will never come to save them—or something to that effect.
ACQUAINTANCES AND ALLIES
- As far as Claire is concerned, she doesn’t really want friends. Things never seem to go right for them. A villain that is her ally would be a great asset, preferably someone as unique and crazy and she is. There’s really nothing more to face.
THE ENEMY
- Heroes. It doesn’t matter if you’re the most pristine, best hero out there, she knows that you had have done some little thing wrong. Partially driven by rage against those times she needed a hero as a child, and partially driven by a scarred brain, her path of vengeance won’t stop until she can “erase” them from earth. The same goes for vigilantes as well.
ROMANCE
-There’s really no way this could work… Yet.
AUTHOR’S NOTES
-There’s really not much more to say about her. Other than her books, she really has nothing noteworthy about herself.

katakana: yes pls. Jack's not at that point yet, but he's pretty dull-eyed about the things going on in Arkham. Heroes are probably actively trying to stop criminal activity in the place, which would pretty much mean death to the economy for the part of Arkham that he knows.
Does Katakana want to kill an NPC hero that's been throwing wrenches in Arkham and save the day for Jack here? If so, let's do it, I can pay Renown if we need to. /thumbs-up

jack OKAY LET ME FIRST JUST SAY THAT I AM INCREDIBLY SORRY ABOUT GETTING TO YOU SO LATE! I have not been checking this profile, and normally people never respond to my plotters unless something occurs in the Cbox. I am so so so SO sorry if I seemed rude or uninterested. I just didn't know that you had replied.
In fact, I'll have the renown offer lowered due to my lateness. I really apologize!
Katakana is a bit weird. Of course she would be knowledgeable about the current state of Arkham, and she could use the excuse that she's invigorating the economy and protecting mob rule. I think she's be happy to help out! Also, killing heroes is great! To put it simply, I think Katakana is trying to get the world to realize that heroes may not come to your rescue, so you'd better buckle up, buckaroo sort of thing. Of course, if this could lead to Jack "opening his eyes" and perhaps becoming a small time assistant for Claire Araki, or even Katakana, that would be interesting.
Regardless, I like the idea of killing an NPC hero that's been trying to stop the wonderful economy in dear, sweet Arkham. Let's do it!

katakana: Hey! Okay, no worries about that, we're all good -- okay, let's get down to plotting.
So we talked about it briefly in the cbox and idk if Egao is making Big Nose for reals, but anyway. We could just jump straight into business irregardless, so we can set up some basic interaction between Katakana and Jack before the hero problem comes up?
I like the idea about Jack realizing that heroes aren't going to come to his aid esp bc Arkham, so I'll see if I can't slip that development point into his posts eventually lol. Right now, he just kinda has a distaste for superpowered people, so he might be a little wary of Katakana if she's not Claire, kinda-sorta-harmless mangaka?
Btw I actually intend on having Jack intern at Oricon eventually and interacting with more vigilantes/villains, so I can't really have him head down the mangaka assistant route :c He could still show up at fansigns/meets though!

jack,
Perfectly fine about not doing the mangaka assistant route! But as far as it goes with meeting up before the hero problem, what about, say, an impromptu coffee shop meeting while seeing her work on a comic book? Who knows, perhaps Jack is a fan of her work?

katakana: As he is right now, I think Jack would definitely appreciate her work because no one really gets a happy ending and he's totally into to that sort of thing atm. So yeah, he'd be curious! We could do a coffeeshop meeting no prob. o/
If you wanna start it first it'd be great, or if you wanna wait until I'm better before I start it, that's fine too. :j

katakana & Boogey
why hello there my fellow god villain. i wonder if katakana has met any other gods besides achilles, because if not, this is the perfect chance for a bond between the current gods to form. it wouldn't be so awkward when everyone is called together and looking at each other like "Who the hell are you?" but, i can see zanii being the little child he is, reading one of her comics in a public area and that catches her attention. after an exchange of words, she could find out about him being a villain too or even more being one of the gods. who knows where it could lead.

Boogey,
Ooh my... Yet another fan?! And this time, he's a villain too! Oh, what a remarkable friendship this could form! I would absolutely love to do that sometime soon! However, what time would we be doing this, after New Olympus has been formed or while it is currently being formed, or even just shy before Boogey happens to join?

Well, Well, Well, look what fell into the spiders web. A tasty treat worth savoring. So Senpai, should I sweet talk you first or should I be more direct with my confession? <3 you know why I am here. Klyde must of saw Claire somewhere and instantly caught feelings. We have to do something about this. Unrequited love gives birth to yanderes.

Spoods, Well oh my goodness... What have we here? Another fan, but one with a love interest? May have to take it slow with this, but if he admires her work... Well then we can get along just fine...
Oh! What we could do is something about a following when they're not in their respective alias forms? Like, in a manner of Claire and Klyde at first before Spod and Kata. Let me know!
Toodles, Kouhai~

katakana & Boogey
for more growth between the two, i would say before the boogey even joins. that way when he comes, they could be on the same page for a lot of things. just let me know when you want a thread between these two.
