Justice comes from the shadows.

From The Shadows is a secret, international vigilante group that deals with covert missions and detective work to uncover crimes, especially political ones, in support of the country's police force. It originated in Nepal, where it exposed the last president's corruption and revealed the truth on several political killings in the past. It is compromised of many vigilante groups from across the globe including India, Tibet, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, the Philippines, Singapore, and Kingsport.

To counteract the Initiative's actions on criminalizing vigilantes, FTS responded by setting up their own base of operations in Kingsport through their connections in the city, including the famed White Industries. The goal is to unify the vigilantes in the country and train them in various arts and skills to help with their survival and work. Their activities are still minimal and their numbers still few but growing.

Compromising of teenagers and young adults, this vigilante team strictly deals with covert missions that would keep them out of the Initiative's radar. They are trained in martial arts, deduction, tech, and teamwork.

Located under Whitewings Mall (owned by White Industries) in Sentinel Hill, the Basement can only accessed through the secret passageways of the jewelry store Regal, the Nepali restaurant Himalayas, the fast food Milk and Steak, the shoe section of the department store, and the sixth movie theater. If the mall is closed, a Himalayas branch nearby can be used. The stairs go down a hundred steps before arriving at a magnetic shuttle to take members underground. All employees in the following areas are allies of FTS.

The Basement is functional with a training gym, an atmospheric library of books and computers, a living quarters with male and female wards, a minimalistic living room and kitchen, two classrooms, and a briefing room with a 110-inch TV screen. It is the size of a small school and has a garage for small vehicles that can be opened to a tunnel leading above ground. There is also an elevator for exit-only that goes out into an abandoned building not too far from Arkham.

Though the Basement is the headquarters of FTS, it is mostly used by the young members of the Team. Besides them, it is rare to see others present.

Ma'm Tanna is one of FTS' many allies and as landlady, she can house vigilantes in her apartment complex in case of emergency. It's nothing high-tech or advanced. Just a simple, normal apartment. Most members of FTS actually use this place more than the Basement as meeting places; they don't need an official, fancy headquarters to get work done like the Team.
