Nah, but forreal though, Morricone has a pretty cool story and I like how you tied his family history into it as well. If her were to say...grow more down on himself and his abilities would it be a far-fetched idea to seek out someone who could help train him? Kane definitely wouldn't mind teaching the guy a few things but of course he'd do it in exchange for a few favors here and there - fetch this artifact, kill this monster, travel to this parallel dimension that favors Hell and bring me back a coconut etc etc.
I'm still figuring out how exactly I want to play Kane, but I know for sure he enjoys using his experience in the magical community to gets what he wants from others. Sooo feel free to take advantage & shoot whatever ya want lol The Devil's Advocate,

The Devil's Advocate - i can use some reknown to make a small town in middle america all go mad because of Lilith's meddling. (extremely small, about 200 people, farm country.) morricone can investigate and we can make a nice, long, fun mystery thread with a shitton of NPCs from the town.

KANE, I'm sorry I haven't answered sooner! I was hella busy, but we all know that's a bullshit excuse. Mea Maxima Culpa! I think Morricone doesn't want more power - I think he'd be more like the kind of guy to exchange favours. Maybe he'd need something of his own, like finding a dagger, or getting Kane to kill a bitch ass angel that's trying to get Morricone involved, or... Well, I'll think of something. But he doesn't want or need training - Morricone finds power scary, and in fact, he doesn't use his stronger powers because he's SCARED of what he would do with it. Other than that, everything is probs fair game! lilith, I'd totally be game to investigate a crazy town filled with crazy people who suddenly turn catatonic or sadistic or just nonsensical. We'd need to work out the kinks of such a story telling idea, but I'm all game for that! Also, we need to make then enemies - I'm already liking the idea of them fighting, because it's so Hellblazer-like that it makes me laugh. |

Clyde, I have a bit of a plan for what kind of devil Morricone made a deal with, so that's not gonna happen BUT I MEAN THEY CAN STILL MEET AND BECOME BUDS AND SHIT Also yes, Morricone can probably see him as what he truly is, and then they can start shenaniganing afterwards - maybe Morricone thinks he's a suspect? Or maybe they just meet - the most common setup I've used so far is that the said person comes in Morricone's shop, and it's kind of getting old a little, so maybe something else. Maybe they just bump at the 24/7 grocery or something. ALSO SORRY I AM BAD AT KEEPING TRACK OF MY PLOTER WHOOPS

Hi! I want to do something a little bit unconventional and do a sort of backstory... Maybe go back two years to when she first arrived in Kingsport. Although, not a typical run into type of thing... I want Morricone to discover Jenny in his bookshop in the morning when he opens up the shop, fast asleep with a pile of books that she's read. Of course, it'd be something simple, but I want it to be something short and establishing something. In two years, she may happen to stop by to peruse his selection again! I know we discussed it before, but just wanted to give you a heads up! Also, I can start the thread if need be.

God damn you look busy with all these plots. I was going to ask if we could somehow thread Ruler and Morricone just to set a precedent to the Phase 3 of Phoenix Force.
But now that I read through the entire plot page have seen the stuff, I'm just going to throw RYOU the magic dragon. Dragon. Magic. Two things Morricone sound like an expert of. You got another visitor to your library. They're both from the Initiative, too! Ryou is incaapble of doing magic atm but it is in his potential.
LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU'RE AVAILABLE, OR IF YOU WANT TO SOMEHOW SPEW SOMETHING WITH ME WITH RULER/MORRICONE. Ruler just kind of arrived in Earth and he's not really that around in Kingsport yet, since he's wary + adjusting. I can work something depending on what Morricone might be up to! Ruler and Delta are also in a thread, so that's connection.

Initially, Raz's visits to Morri's library were infrequent and impersonal. They'd keep to themselves, quietly and casually speed-reading books that aren't available in digital formats in the most isolated corner available. Any potential conversations would be politely deflected as much as possible, and any offers of a library card would be met with resolute refusal. They just want to discover the extent of humanity's understanding of the magical world. That was all Raz thought they'd need from this place.
However, somewhere along the line, Raz starts to become a familiar element of the space, similar to the stray cats that regularly wander in. (Especially accurate, since Raz is currently without a permanent shelter). They'll begin to suggest titles (and page numbers) with database-like accuracy to those searching for a particular passage, and even ask questions occasionally -- sometimes about mundane subjects, other times about magic or other planes of existence. And maybe, just maybe they begin to engage in full conversations with the library owner who hasn't kicked them out yet for some godforsaken reason.
TBH this is just a suggestion even tho it reads more like a "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED. THE END," but in reality I'm up for any ideas you have ;u; |
