The Girl… The Myths… The Vigilante!  | JENNY MULDER, aka “Cryptid”
- Jenny Mulder is a 14 year-old, heterosexual, science experiment from a covert government organization. Her resident scientist (And actual biological father, unbeknownst to her) helped her escape the horrors of the facility after the United States Army took complete control away from the group. Ever since then, she’s been living in Kingsport and has tried to keep away from groups that have anything to do with the United States Government…
-Also, she’s a member of a vigilante group! Mainly to have a roof over her head and a place to store books. She enjoys fighting crime with her team members.
Fellow Believers!
-Even though she’s a bit reclusive at first, after getting to know people, she’ll emerge from her hiding place and be glad to talk to you! She normally tries to stay away from heroes and villains, but as far as vigilantes and civilians go, she’d be fine to have a chat with you!
-Video Games are fun too! She does spend time playing various games at home, mainly competitive online co-operative shooters and heist games in order to get a feel of how to stop a bank robbery- Who are we kidding, she just loves the games. Of course, being a fourteen year old girl does mean she gets called out for being a squealer a lot, but she makes up for it by yelling back at them extremely loud, and sometimes morphing into Bigfoot in order to make her voice deeper.
Bad Monsters!
- Criminals suck! She really doesn’t like people that view mutants or superheroes as an abomination. She also doesn’t like military groups. She’s okayish with the initiative, but she DOES NOT want to join at all! But basically, any villain is game to fight her!
Teenage Love?
-Okay for starters, she’s 14. This should already raise a few flags with people with older characters. That’s a no go. Friends are fine, just not lovers that are older than 16. In order for romance to occur, it has to occur naturally and all that stuff. Also, you gotta not mind a few extra hairs on your bed. or feathers… or scales… or waking up to the Jersey Devil standing next to your bed…
Cryptozoologist Notes/FBI files
- Her ability is the result of augmented genes that she can control and change to a certain extent. For instance, she can change her physiology in order to be more suited to swimming, even to the point of breathing underwater.
- Her scientist/father’s last name “Mulder” is a direct reference to Fox Mulder from the X-Files. Only this time, He does believe because he has seen.
- Area 42 is open for other experiments! However, normally Area 42 deals with urban legends and cryptids, even reports of dinosaurs. There are probably a TON of people that are the results of experiments that occurred in there.
-She often shortens her Synchronization suit’s title to “Syncsuit.” The suit further helps her control her genome in order to make more accurate transformations and ability buffs.
- Even though there are several flying cryptids such as Mothman, Jersey Devil, and others, she prefers to make her wing physiology after the Thunderbird, considering that she likes that aesthetic more than moth or devil wings.
-Despite loving anime, she does not want to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion because she “thinks the angels are scary.” This is coming from the girl that can turn into a creature that belongs in a creepypasta.

...well, Mech, you asked me to drop in XD
So they're going to be in the same team (that Egao is making and we have yet to name), right? And Alice is, as far as I know, the eldest, so I think she'll take it upon herself to be the big sister of the group... notwithstanding the fact that she may or may not be effective in said role XD so, she'll be bothering Jenny between missions and failing at being smarter than her without the help of the Internet and trolling Jenny in tech and video games. Of course, in missions, Alice is their support (everyone gets an Alice in their phones/communicators/whatever!) who blabbers while nothing is happening.
Soooo... the origin story of the vigilante group has yet to be done... but I guess threads where they deal with each other can be done, sort of like a flash forward? Although I don't know yet where specifically Egao plans us to have a base, haha. They could have encountered each other before they become teammates, though... although does Jenny have a cryptid who can see ghosts, or something?
So yeah, that's all I have for now. How about on your end?

HELLO FELLOW HORMONAL ADOLESCENT CREATURES...AND A GHOST.
First of, with the girl of the plot page! Jenny and Leo have similar powers but with Leo's level, Jenny's put his into shame. Leo can basically possess the minds of any creatures with a brain. He does this with his dire wolf, which can also breathe out ice! Though he can posess the minds of humans too, this is much harder for him. With Jenny being able to do things on her own power, Leo would feel jealous and lacking.
Maybe we could have them be recruited in the team roughly at the same time? They share the love for reading books, but I think Leo would be too intimidated to want to share that with her. He would probably stay respectfully distant and just stick to cracking witty remarks. Someday, the ice would melt and he would be more willing to be close to Jenny.
AS FOR SHAMEES, not sure what else to add on about him! Just tell me what kind of thread you guys want. A tour, a mission...or both put together. And we totally have a mission available! Just haven't been able to write it up. Recruiting Brandon Ackerman and stuff |

Hi there. I... I must've been really tired or like been on one of my 2 AM rants when I said I wanted you to post here. Hah. Anyways, I'm not up to date on my list of Cryptids, but I'm pretty sure Mothman and the Jersey Devil could see ghosts! If only as like... Little balls like in Soul Eater. Considering that, I can't wait for her to be a little sister to Alice!
NOW HOWLING, MY DUUUUUUDE. SHE IS NOTHING LIKE LEO! Leo's awesome and very very VERY talented and can utilize all the wolves! Jenny is stuck with being a freakshow and curling up as a hoopsnake or hiding under the Miskatonik river as a Loch Ness Monster or Ogopogo, or running into the forest to hide as Sasquatch or being a shy little girl! They should totally be good friends because of their similar abilities though! As for Shamees, a tour would be great! As far as her recruitment, I think something would work good in Arkham, perhaps he tracks her down to stopping a robber or something and follows her back to her squatting place and tries (and succeeds) to recruit her!

LEO SEES IT DIFFERENTLY :C. He sees Jenny being this awesome powerhouse gal who is not only strong, but pretty and smart too. He's going to see how alike they are (when you're right, their powers are completely different) and just go, ":C"

Well, Leo will just have to see how different their powers are (and that he's totally cooler!).
