[attr="class","spc"] " Morgan Cloutier... Eighteen... France? That's new... Brought in by his mother, bum, bum, bum..." The soft mutterings and chimings of a young woman were the only thing that could be heard in what was a surprisingly large gymnasium like space. Sleek pristine metals made up the floors and walls, not a penny spared to ensure this place was built durable enough to withstand the heaviest of blasts obviously. Sealed off almost completely from the outside, it was a safe and controlled environment. It was flat, empty, and cold looking with it's almost sterile appearance. The only thing in the room aside from the mumbling woman was a small section of bleachers that lined the wall next to the entrance of the room. With it so bare and well built, Iit was the ideal place to start the training of super powered youths. Which is what brought the mumbling woman to this room once more today. Not because she needed training but she was the one here to train someone else. A new recruitment to the Initiative with ice based abilities, a fact that made her sigh purely for the fact she wasn't necessarily a fan of the cold. She came mostly dressed for it at least. A black turtleneck tank on top of a purple long sleeved shirt, dark old and worn jeans tucked into brown boots, she wasn't dressed up like some of the suit and ties business casual workers meandering about the place. Definitely not like the well armed security guards wandering around the place... In fact, she looked more ready to go for a stroll around some park in the middle of fall, but whatever. She was seated on the bleachers by the door, flicking through the profile sent to her this morning about the new recruit. Keeper's focus was settled on the general psychological analysis and power data provided for her earlier to begin a proper lesson plan. There was nothing in his bio that was too out there for this line of work, but the lack of control certainly warranted some private lessons to start out with. Today would mark their first lesson, and it would all start once she heard the door finally slide open to reveal her pupil to her for the first time escorted by one of the Initiative workers. Looking up from the tablet as the new noise in the quiet room easily caught her attention, she greeted the entering duo with a pleasant smile and hopped back up to her feet. Locking the screen and holding the tablet to her chest, Keeper moved to meet the two half way as they entered the room. " Welcome, welcome, hi" she chimed to the two. The agent nodded to Ricki in quiet acknowledgment, which Ricki returned before looking to her new student. " You must be Morgan, right? They call me Keeper around here, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'll be your personal power trainer starting today, so if you have any questions or concerns, don't be afraid to ask, okay?" She promptly offered her free hand to Morgan with an assuring smile and eagerly waited his response. MADE BY ★MEULK [newclass=.spc b]color:#4e6952;[/newclass]

Here he was, walking among heroes who came in all different sorts. But all united by one factor, they were all dogs to the Initiative. Disposable tools and let’s be honest, most were probably only kept because people feared what kind of destruction they could cause.
No one could argue that they were just dogs at this point, Morgan was even told he’d be getting a codename. Something they could call him when they need to yank his chain no doubt.
He was being guided through corridors of sleet and solid grays, he was told today would be his first training session and he would be guided by the Initiative’s most competent tutor of young heroes. Which, he couldn’t hide, made him visibly upset. It was a babysitter, a handler, he was eighteen for crying out loud why was he being roped in with kids?
Morgan kept in pace with the agent leading him, silently and glowering. Until they finally arrived at their destination, he could feel a knot in his gut at wondering what kind of person his trainer would be. He imagined an aging man who was much too enthusiastic towards the Initiative, seeing them as humanity’s saviors. He cringed.
But to his surprise, when they entered the room and he peered around his guide, he saw a cool and collected women. Obviously older than him, but not by much. He grinned a bit, she was very alluring he’d give her that. But remembering that she’d be his overseer these next few whenevers he quickly snapped back to being cold and aloof.
“You must be Morgan, right? They call me Keeper around here, it's a pleasure to meet you.” Keeper? Well that sure was fitting for a dog trainer. She offered a hand as a civil gesture, he froze for a moment questioning whether to accept it. Then it struck him, and his hand met hers seemingly in friendly union.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Ms. Keeper,” His smile was warm, but not his palms. “I’m in your capable hands.” His hand became unbearably icy, getting colder with each passing second. He hope she enjoyed the gesture.

[attr="class","spc"] Blinking at the pause, Keeper briefly wondered if perhaps the out of control ice powers he had caused Morgan to be hesitant to touch people. It was a common thing to see, she had that issue herself once, so she was ready to withdrawal her hand. However, just as she was about to pull back, he instead reached out to grab her hand and shake it... Then held on. His hand was cold, and getting colder. Her brow quirked and as he spoke, it would feel like her hand gripped his tighter, but that was actually Keeper creating a space between their hands so the cold wouldn't touch her. Rather, the cold leaking from his hand began to simply leak out instead as she gently twisted the flow of the air. With her only feeling the slightest brush of the cold, Keeper continued to bare her nonchalant air. The agent was unaware of the situation as a result and simply said they would come back for Morgan after the scheduled training was done. The agent's eyes trailed to their hands briefly, quirking a brow at Keeper who simply waved a hand to dismiss them. With a roll of their own eyes, the agent wandered off to go about their own business. Once the door was shut, Keeper's eyes turned back to Morgan and she easily slipped her hand back at this point. " Alright, let's get started. We can sit down over here to chat a bit first, unless you prefer standing" Keeper began, turning to lead the way over to the bleachers regardless because she was going to sit either way. Once she did, she unlocked the screen on the tablet. " They don't let me blast music through the audio system anymore unless I have a sound manipulator as a student, but it gets obnoxiously quiet in here" she began, pulling open what appeared to be some music app. " What kind of music do you like?" It was a simple question, and once he gave a genre, she'd pick something of that nature and let the tablet quietly play it's music in the background. Then she snapped her fingers and looked up at him with a simple smile. " Right, since today's the first day, I figure it's always good to just spend it getting to know each other. You know like the first day of school, or whatever kind of just covers that, last I checked. Since I know getting used to this place isn't exactly easy or anything, I just assume it's nice to get some down time to start off with..." She explained, before quirking her head slightly to the side. " Although... Did you accidentally or intentionally just try to freeze my hand?" she questioned with a simple unaccusing curious look. It irritated him to no end that his little prank had no effect on this woman, whatever freak powers she had would certainly ruin his fun and that made him even more agitated towards this whole situation.
He felt his anger getting to him as the temperature around him continued to lower and he had to concentrate on not letting it get out of hand. If only to not let this woman, Keeper, know of his growing irritation.
He practically ignored her questions and stayed put and defiantly stayed put while she strode towards the bleachers. Her small talk was bothersome, he hated when people forced conversation. He was here to work on his powers, that was it.
“Although... Did you accidentally or intentionally just try to freeze my hand?”
He piqued his head up towards her when she announced his little antic but then shamefully lowered his head in shame and shyly shuffled through his white locks.
“O-oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t even notice...” He’d try and play up the innocence, it’d be the most fun he could get out of this. “Really, it can get unbearable sometimes,” That wasn’t a lie, it was difficult to control his powers when they seemingly were linked to his emotions. It made lying ten times harder. He had to be cool and collected at all times.

[attr="class","spc"] Ignored and not moving, Morgan did not follow her an inch to the benches. Keeper eyed him curiously from her seat as it dawned on her that this was really not going to be that easy. She had hoped that she could start to get a gauge on him through the conversation, but he really was in no mood for this. Brought here by his mother, and some rough notes in his psychological review – a typical test to ensure new heroes weren't crazy – she supposed she underestimated the frustration this kid probably felt right now. It was kind of funny, she usually saw fire elementals being more of the angry types with ice elementals being more of the quiet sullen sort. She kept that to herself though. He spoke after she called him out on his prank, and his reaction indicated a typical reaction to powers. Irritation, shame, dislike... Yeah, she'd been there too. Keeper looked down to the tablet for a moment, before she got back up from her seat and wandered back over to where Cryo was standing, letting him have his way for now. " It's fine, really" she assured with a shrug. " I totally get it. I mean, I accidentally ripped the door off of my brother's fridge once. Destroyed a lot of things, hurt people... It's not easy to get used to these things" she tacked on, before rolling up her sleeves. " But that's what we're here to work on. So, I guess we can start there. I've read the documents, but I want to know how well you understand your power. Describe it for me. What do you think you can do, does it react to certain things, is it something that just sort of has a mind of it's own or do you think you can control it? Stuff like that." Morgan was taken back when Keeper had started to talk about her past experiences with her powers and how destructive they were. Hurt people. He cringed when he heard that thinking back to his mother. He apologized so much to her that day but it never felt like enough.
She asked him to describe his powers, it wasn’t as though he never thought about how they worked but he really didn’t understand them.
“I don't know,” He put his hands in his pockets. “They performed tests on me the day I arrived here, they told me I can manipulate the water molecules in the air or something like that,” He remembered the testing, he felt like a damn lab rat. “All I know is I can freeze things over if I want to, I can even make things,”
He decided to show her and formed a small object in his hand. The form of a swan was there but the edges were rough and it wasn’t the prettiest thing. It solidified that Morgan didn’t have full control over his powers. Embarrassed he quickly crushed the fragile thing in his hand and returned it to his pocket.
