[attr="class","eheart"] onikori [attr="class","eheartpost"] Brook wasn't expecting this to be honest. He was anything but qualified to be a teacher, but the Initiative had other ideas it seemed.
They had called him in to help one of their members, who also had ice manipulation powers. Granted, theirs were normal, not corrupted or impure like his were. But the Initiative saw past that minor detail and looked to Brook to help. They wanted him to help Cryo with his powers, or something like that. As usual, some of the details and information were pretty vague. The only thing Brook knew was that he was supposed to help this person with their power. And that was pretty much it.
Although Brook could try and access Cryo's files, they sort of sprung this on him at the last minute. They told him just the day before to arrive at around 9AM the following morning. It didn't really give him enough time to prepare. So there he stood in the middle of one of the practice arenas, idly creating random ice structures as he waited. He didn't have any clue who Cryo was or looked like, so Brook hoped that someone directed them the right way towards him.

He couldn’t believe this. He was perfectly content with his training with Ricki, but of course the higher ups didn’t think he was progressing well enough so they thought pairing him up with another ice manipulator would help him understand his powers more.
It wasn’t like he wouldn’t be training with Ricki anymore though, in fact this was extra training. At this rate he’d get barely time out in the fields or to himself. It was enough to piss him off that he left an icy trail as he trudged through the halls and when he finally arrived at the door and grabbed the handle it froze over. He couldn’t turn it.
That was it, Cryo lost his cool after a few tries at jimmying it open and unfreezing it. He resolved to kicking the thing open and in a few swift kicks the door flew inward to reveal a skinny bluenette waiting in the training room. Cryo stepped into the room, his frosty footprints trailing behind him.
“Brook right?” There was no doubt that someone would be coming in after him soon, he ditched his guide back when they told him where he’d be going. He knew his way and snuck off from his handler once he turned away. And soon enough a man raced into the room.
“C-Cryo! I asked you to wait for me!” He huffed trying to catch his breath, he’d get reprimanded for letting Cryo leave a trail of ice that’ll have to be melted down and breaking in the door. “I’m so sorry,” The man quickly turned his attention to Brook to apologize. “This is Cryo, er, Morg—”
“Cryo is fine,” He stuck to his code name around the Initiative, no one needed to be on a first name basis with him. The agent clear his throat nervously, it was getting a little too chilly in this place.
“Well, I’ll just leave introductions to you guys,” With that the agent made his exit, dreading what kind of collateral damage he’d have to deal with.

[attr="class","eheart"] onikori [attr="class","eheartpost"]Well, that was one hell of an entrance, Brook had to give it to Cryo for that.
When the doors budged and budged, Brook turned his attention away from the snowflakes he was creating. Then, the doors started to gather frost on it. That wasn't a great sign. It didn't take long for the doors to break down after that. The person behind it managed to kick down the doors and flew open without resisting. The snowflake in Brook's hand faltered for a moment as Cryo made eye contact with him. If this was any indication of what lied ahead of Brook, then he sure had his hands full.
Brook nodded slowly when Cryo addressed him. This was going to be interesting. He was about to say something when a man came rushing in after Cryo, seemingly out of breath. Leaning to the side a bit to get a better look at him, Brook recognized him as one of the agents. He waved his hand slightly dismissively at the apology. The agent almost said Cryo's first name, but the other ice manipulator quickly and coldly cut him off before he could finish his sentence. That was enough for the agent, he excused himself and left the room.
With that out of the way, Brook took a few steps forward and nodded at Cryo, offering his hand in greeting. "Code name's Onikori, but you can call me Brook. The Initiative wants me to help you with your powers." There slight pause as Brook cleared his throat, half because he actually needed to and half to take a moment to prepare himself for what was to come. "I've never trained someone before, but I guess the first question should be what are you capable of?" It was hard to gauge just how far Cryo was with his powers by just freezing the doors and kicking them down. From the sound of it, he was below Brook somewhere. And Brook would be quick to admit that he wasn't a master at his own powers either, but he was far enough to be considered to train someone. It was his first time ever 'tutoring' someone too. There were a lot of surprise elements that

Cryo sized up his new ‘teacher’. Compared to Cryo’s own broad shoulders Brook was a bit scrawny. Lean would be a nicer word to use. He stared down at the hand offered to him and snubbed it.
“Formalities are annoying,” Cryo had no interest is whole situation, he showed up that was more than enough of him putting in effort. “I already have a teacher, those higher-ups think that sticking me with another ice manipulator will help me somehow.” Hearing that this guy isn’t even a real trainer irked Cryo, they couldn’t find someone better?
At the mention of showing what he could do Cryo shrunk away. He still had very little control over his abilities. He can create solid structures but it gets out of control the more power he puts behind it. Not to mention his emotions make it hard to manipulate.
“Tch,” The air around his right hand dropped below zero and a layer of frost covered his palms. “I manipulate the energy of water molecules in the air,” He lifted his hand to show that a claw-like structure had frozen over it. “I can’t really control blast, it’s risky. Close combat is my specialty.”
