Seen some messed up stuff and need to talk about it? Don't want your record to be tarnished by seeking the help of a shrink? Worry not! Evelyn Inoue is there for you.
This ad is for anyone looking to work through psychological trauma, stress, or other issues with the help of someone with grade A experience and education in the field. For heroes extra precautions may be taken to maintain the confidentiality of said visits, this treatment also extended toward Vigilantes as well if they so choose to seek her help. Evelyn won't judge a client or their requests, and may even take sessions in her home if need be. Otherwise her office is in Innsmouth, with typically open office hours.
It's a pleasure to help serve those that already do so much for the community.
Also in need of an assistant if anyone is interested in the job. The task can be quite demanding, but requirements are at least high school education or higher, some college preferred but not necessary. If any are interest make an appointment and we will set up interviews right away.

Evelyn Inoue WOW NICE alright so yolande here is in serious need of some psychological help. it's not that she's traumatized or anything, but ever since she received her powers she's been on a downward slump. it's as if she exchanged her mental stability for her abilities. she's not sad so much as simply empty, apathetic, and unmotivated. and self-loathing. she can barely motivate herself to step out the door in the morning, much less tackle villains, which isn't exactly a welcome trait seeing as she's registered with the initiative. if she doesn't get her activity and success she could be downgraded to D rank or even booted out entirely, so the initiative would definitely direct her towards a psychologist, maybe even subtly threaten her too. she would.... skip a lot of sessions and ignore a lot of calls because lack of motivation and fear and lots of other factors, but she would meet up with evelyn occasionally. and lie through her teeth about her mental health/lifestyle even though it's kind of obvious that she's not in a good place right now. i would say that she's depressed but i don't want to misrepresent depression, seeing as i don't have it myself, so i'm kind of vague about her mental state. but she's very sad so these two should totally meet up??

Yea I can totally see Evelyn wanting to help. It's not entirely uncommon for Initiative staff to introduce her to potential patients, though most of the heroes she helps tend to come in separate from the organization so their record stays clean. Either way she would be willing to help. While she wouldn't overly pester the girl, she might leave her messages every so often when Yolande skips a few sessions in a row or something like that. Part of her job is to let Yolande do most of the talking, so there's no doubt she'd try to start conversations, normal ones that the hero might not get as often given the work she does. We can maybe start a thread with them where the Initiative was the one to introduce them on terms that she had to attend sessions, they could be meeting for the first time or maybe she already skipped the first few sessions they were supposed to have then dun duun she finally decides to arrive to one lol. Any of this sound alright? Lemme know if you want to start or I can as well. ^^ Moon Rabbit

Made the thread! Yeah, everything sounds great. The thread is set such that Yolande skipped the first appointment she was supposed to go to, and then the second. And finally she's here for what should be her third session but is actually her first, woohoo. Evelyn Inoue

Evelyn InoueIn the near future, when Jack eventually rejoins the initiative hes going to likely be needing a lot of therapy. perhaps some of it unwilling. You see, Jack Vinland (AKA Pyroclasm) is an alcoholic (despite not really being able to get drunk due to his physiology) since the death of his wife. As a result of this, he'll perhaps be sent to get help somewhat against his will, but it will be a necessary step in his own personal journey and healing process. Would you be up for having Evelyn work with him in the near future?

While she doesn't like people to see her by force or unwilling, it isn't entirely uncommon for staff from the Initiative to press their heroes to see her if something seems wrong with their mental stability. She would decline his recommendation if he seemed to not want to see her whatsoever, but if she were to meet him once -perhaps to simply consult with her- she might see his state of mind and try to convince him on her own terms. She doesn't work for the Initiative, and can therefore manage her patients the way she sees fit. If Pyro flat out refused to see her, she wouldn't force him, but out of mere concern as a Dr. in her own right she'd still calm him, or send messages asking if he was alright or if he needed to talk. At any rate they could definitely thread, and she'd be more than willing to help. ^^
