aegishilariously enough, skae might be marginally more human than aegis despite the fact that she's still more machine than human anyway. (but, i mean, she also doesn't require constant brainwipes.) but anyway. can i vote for buddies-not-buddies? co-perpetrators of mass mayhem and destruction? she can handle any potentially violent outbursts of his just fine, so here's someone he can possibly spend time around without, idk, snapping them in half or something. |

so originally i thought that elias and aegis should fight but idk...now i kind of want them to evade initiative capture together. maybe we can find some heroes for them to take on together? if elias saw aegis fighting initiative heroes he would be tempted to jump in and help out. they'd probably have great battle synergy w/ the whole magnetism thing. lol.

ngl...i want aphrodite to root for the fidelia x aegis romance...she's been around for 10,000 years so maybe she was watching them back during WWII or something. idk just let me try to teach aegis how to love. even if i fail, it will be worth it. aphrodite might throw some random citizen at him w/ a love spell and see how he reacts.
alternatively, aphrodite is a public figure for the initiative. we could do something with that. maybe he's been ordered to kidnap her/take her out or something?

this would be awesome! i love this. they just happen to cross paths when the initiative comes down like a hammer on both of them and then it's like boom. aegis would probably be like "this is a useful tool to have in this fight" if veros starts working with him against the heroes and not much more than that but i think they would make a kick-ass team. and then later someone should tell veros he fought with a century old assassin who has murdered presidents.

the idea of poor brainwashed aegis being hit with a love spell and having no idea what's happening to him is incredible. she should root for aegis x fidelia tbh, maybe she can run into aegis after he meets fidelia again in the 21st century?

if he comes up with a sob story and she's convinced he's not dangerous, she might let him slip through her fingers. alternately he can just get away.

So K'shiel's a little shit. That being said, he's on the loose right now, and can conceivably pop into DC to help even the odds against Artemis. I told Toska this already, although we're pretty sure Aegis will manage on his own.
A part of him believes, or wants to believe, that Aegis is faking the emotionless killer thing to avoid pissing off Spectre. Because he gets that. That makes sense. What he doesn't get is how a person's will and identity can be so thoroughly unmade, so it's like lol you sure pulled a fast one on the labcoats, you're sO COOL???
Anyway, K'shiel knows who Aegis is, but he wonders who Aegis was. The killing machine thing is a boring ruse, but who Aegis was before that? Curiosity killed the cat. He likes to pry whenever he gets a chance, I think, but only when Spectre isn't looking. (He knows he's dancing on a fine edge between too-useful-to-kill and too-obnoxious-to-live when it comes to Spectre.)
