She's just. Not very friendly at all, but she can respect strength. She's pretty likely to have villain/vigilante friends, so long as they have a healthy amount of self-respect and ability. Insult her, and you've just forfeited your head. Don't bother with romance, she's not interested.

Being as he's a witch and all. yaaaa i imagine that physis trades a lot of local favors since she can only get away with bribing the police for info for so long i see that maria's got a shitton of magic juice. i imagine that physis would occasionally drop by to access some scouring services? like she'll bring in a few missing persons reports and ask if maria can give her an intersection, a block, anything. idk how their interactions would go but we can work off of that? |

artemis + MERCURY ; Maybe she could mistaken him as one of the pantheon. I actually apped him before I realized there was one, but, hey, maybe I could app actual greek god ! mercury later or they could end up rival or something. Anyways, if she doesn't mistaken him as one of the pantheon, there's always the other route of disliking him on the basis of taking his name or something? It'd be one-sided though. He'd greet her with a smile and treat her the same.
physis + MERCURY ; Mercury could be one of her contacts. While he wouldn't sell out any villains, but, for the right price, he could give her info on missing children or something in general to help her out with her nightly activities.
@cobalt + MERCURY ; ... I honestly don't know. Her exuberance would be overbearing for him in the long run, but maybe they could meet in the place he's starting up, over in Old Town. Warn him about not 'bringing' more villains over? |

MERCURY artemis: TBF i am so sorry but artemis actually doesn't give a shit about the pantheon. actually she doesn't even give a shit about the actual olympians except apollo, and artemis would really rather stay out of family drama altogether. she'd rather stay out if initiative drama too, come to think of it. mercury would have to insult her very personally for her to actually get antagonistic. like the only way we'd get a rivalry plot is if mercury hurt one of her hunting dogs or a sacred animal in front of her, or insulted her maidenly virtue. which you're welcome to try, if you feel up to being chased halfway across the city. ss ranked timelord or no, artemis is really bad at letting insults go. physis: i think she would only attempt to talk to him in really desperate circumstances, since i get the impression that mercury advertises his rank to protect his bar? and to some extent physis is reluctant to get too cozy with morally ambiguous folk in arkham if they can potentially fuck her up. i think we might have to build up some kind of backstory with these - what kind of odd jobs does he do? i'm not really getting a sense of his role in arkham/old town beyond 'scary bartender'. which in that case, she might only drop by for a drink if she has no idea about his reputation cobalt: i honestly feel like it's more likely that she's going to order a drink, and then start trouble in his establishment if anything ugly or untoward happens to a civilian. she'll fight a villain if they're in front of her face, but she's not about preemptive policing.

physis + MERCURY ; Ahh. Okay, maybe we should build some backstory then. For the most part, these 'odd jobs' are pretty domestic, like watering plant while the 'villain' or 'vigilante' is away or feeding their pets. He rarely gets involved in anything more, not wanting to directly side with anyone in particular.
@cobalt + MERCURY ; If that ever happens, he'd have stepped in and get 'em to take the fight outside, but people who just come over for a drink is alright too.

MERCURYphysis: ohhhh nooo its totally fine!! and tbh if you want civilian plots w/ physis then i am down!!! she's actually a socialite behind the mask and i'm cool with popping into a bar thread if mercury's establishment is like... relatively respectable from a public pov? SORRY my girls have so many preconditions rip alternatively if he's a vigilante instead of a regular civilian... maybe he could "save" sophia out of a tough spot? like a mugging? then sophia would be at least a little bit grateful that she didn't have to expose her powers in public. we can work on it from there cobalt: are you cool with starting? asking bc i have no clue what his bar is like lololol

physis + MERCURY ; It's alright. Makes things more solid when they do get around. But, I don't think it's the kind of respectable bar from a civilian POV. So they'd definitely need backstory for this to work.
As for meeting him doing actual vigilante things... Well, he'd probably needed something off the guy too. Helping her out would have been a bonus ... and yeah. We can work it out from there?
@cobalt + MERCURY ; lmao. That's cool with me. Maybe I should have a thread or something that describes how the bar looks like for everyone.

artemis & GAEAsay hello to ur great grandma who happens to need a top notch assassin. gaea would call upon artemis probs and be like "hey come help" and idk i was thinking we could have an interesting plot going on w/ HERA . bc the triple goddess thing which is like the maiden, the mother, and the crone and we could sorta do artemis as the maiden, hera as the mother, and gaea as the crone. so anyway ya just some potential plots~~

GAEA i feel like we should thread to establish a relationship first? like ... ftr artemis is not on good terms with most of her family members, so you can't really count on the pantheon thing to get artemis to cooperate (esp since gaea is a villain). whether or not she would agree to help gaea accomplish anything would depend on how gaea words her request in the thread. having both hera + gaea there would put artemis on her guard tho (i mean hera DID try to kill her mom). i am cool w/ a threeway thread, but just giving a heads up in advance that... it would not be a happy family reunion what kind of plot are you proposing exactly?

GAEA i feel like artemis would be deeply disappointed in gaea, especially if gaea wasn't like this before. it would be interesting since artemis doesn't tiptoe around ANYTHING but at the same time it's hard to say "no" to an ss villain who could destroy you? you'd probably have to corner artemis when she's alone (and she's likely to consider the situation to be blackmail if gaea presses her allegiance). lemme know if you want a thread like this!!
