GAEA i feel like artemis would be deeply disappointed in gaea, especially if gaea wasn't like this before. it would be interesting since artemis doesn't tiptoe around ANYTHING but at the same time it's hard to say "no" to an ss villain who could destroy you? you'd probably have to corner artemis when she's alone (and she's likely to consider the situation to be blackmail if gaea presses her allegiance). lemme know if you want a thread like this!! ya for sure!! like i can see gaea just casually being like "i can unmake u dont test me binch". do you wanna make the thread or me? |

Hello there! From our previous little discussion I'm seriously wondering what would happen if Michael encountered Bast, perhaps without knowing it at first? From looking at his biography, I'm guessing he would be pretty uncomfortable to begin with, but perhaps that would change once he got to know Bast a little bit. While she may seem terrifyingly powerful, from his perspective at least, she's really a big sweetheart who wouldn't hurt anyone without cause. In time, they may just become pretty good friends; Michael gets to help Bast do her thing on a daily basis, while Bast can show Michael that she is more 'normal' than he expects. With that said, I was wondering if you had any particular thread ideas that you'd be partial to? For my part, I kind of like the idea that Bast is out walking the streets in her cat form when she gets caught in a small rainstorm. Michael comes walking by, sees what he thinks is a poor, lost kitty, and decides to help. If he's the type to take stray cats home, Bast would probably be quite content to wait until Michael gets home before revealing herself. At the very least, she will definitely enjoy teasing him. If you don't want to do something like this, that's more than alright! Bast is a busy little goddess and she'd probably come into contact with Michael on other occasions, if meeting in the rain doesn't quite seem interesting enough. Let me know if you have any thoughts! michael |

Bast I AM SO INTERESTED IN THIS IDEA especially since michael would be SO FLUSTERED at accidentally having dragged a girl into his apartment.... alone... he'd be decent about it but the whole situation just feels so Impure and we can work off from the awkwardness from there lol i actually really like this bc he starts off meeting most heroes from a perspective of "they can crush you with their pinky finger" but having an embarrassing situation like this might take the edge off a little? edit: OH YEAH did u want to start since there needs 2 be a cat in order for a cat rescue to happen

Sooooo... I haven't managed to plot with Toska before! Here's Julia, successor to the line of Justitia, a sort of legacy superhero position made by the gods long ago (and got kinda revered by the Romans as a god too oops). She's probably easier to plot with compared to my internet hobo, but may be difficult in different ways... and I'm rambling. Soooo....
With artemis, well... she can probably take her acerbic personality, and some of the insults will probably go over her head... and she'll probably be respectful of one of the Olympians who... don't mess with people much unless they actually did something wrong, although my Greek mythology might be faulty >.> Her ramping up with the Scales of Maat could allow her to teach Artemis close quarters combat? And in return Artemis could teach her long-ranged combat... at least so she could throw her evil sword when it counts XD I was thinking she could be part of Artemis's plot squad Silver Hawks thing too, but she might not be as quick as Artemis and Luso until an opponent requires her to be so?
She might also meet physis, maybe as Sophia, in some publicity event, where she doesn't really know much about what to do XD orrr could end up encountering her vigilante-ing in Arkham. Could also encounter michael and he could help her with something she doesn't understand about the modern world? Not sure what that would be, though... vending machines? XD
...aaaand this plotter reply is slightly crappy ;_; but in any case tell me what you think! |

Justitiayeah artemis doesn't get personal ab arrowing you in the face these days unless you hurt one of her dogs or if you peep on her in the bath. which is a LOT narrower of a list than a lot of other olympians, i imagine. we could totally do a cross-training session!! and yess!!!! she is welcome on the hawks!!! i know we're a "speedy" bunch but mostly it just means that artemis doesn't want people snoozing in the middle of the action or being (GOD FORBID) the last to arrive at a scene. physis: i have a lot of beatdown threads rn, and physis has a tendency to escape easily anyway. shes like shadowcat, meaning that handcuffs and shit don't really hold her down. maybe the initiative could send justitia to at least attempt talking her down? get her to repent murdering criminals in cold blood? whatever justitia feels up to!! and then she can attempt a capture, though physis would just flee by ghosting through brick buildings. + michael likes justitia precisely because her powers are already so inherently conditional. it's the fireball heroes he has to watch out for. actually the first time he meets her he probably thinks she's a handicapped initiative staff and asks her if she needs like... special accommodations and shit. which justitia obviously doesn't need but maybe they could tour the building together anyways lol

The scenarios with Artemis and Physis seemed detailed enough already, and I definitely like them! I guess the only things left to ask are where they'll happen... Artemis would be somewhere in the Initiative Compound and Physis's would be somewhere in Arkham, right? And if it would be me or you who would start it XD
As for Michael, yeah, I feel like I want their first meeting to be a thread. Maybe she's just familiarizing herself with the compound and gets a bit lost (hey, it's still large even with super senses), and what you said could have happened--- he asks if she needs handicapped help, and she doesn't get it and just says she's touring XD Would you like that? |

physis I love the whole trophy wife appearance, maybe we could do something with Sheyda introducing himself at some brand of chairty event or gala and really doing his best to make her laugh and smile and stuff because he's the type to quietly and lovingly bitch about proceedings if the other person is down for it... michael watercooler chats with the lil HR nerd, it'd be great, he's adorable, aah... sheyda DOOD i was gonna hit you up but then i passed out rip I'M ACTUALLY IN THE PROCESS OF KILLING OFF SOPHIA'S HUSBAND AND GIVING HER ORICON'S ASSETS in case you wanted to use that as plot fuel. it would definitely add another dimension to any discussion involving the effectiveness of the initiative and such. otherwise we can also have past flashback threads with really debonair talks, i am down for that too since the former idea would require me to finish a few threads first. i imagine that oricon is a donor for the initiative for the sake of being able to protect their assets and maybe sophia is on the verge of pulling some donations after her husband is killed by organized crime? and sheyda has to talk her out of it. + if a meet happens before the incident, sophia is very sweet and accommodating as long as you're not a jerk to her. if you are then she gets a lil cynical and testy but probably nothing approaching what she's like after inheriting oricon RIP + michael: MY CONCEPT FOR HIM IS BASICALLY SMALL NERD WHO IS SCARED OF HEROES ALL THE TIME and also convinced that he's not as capable of heroic deeds but in fact he's a lawful good who has a hard time walking away from injustice and ahhhhhh i kind of want sheyda to help him grow into his own person? like putting his foot down about vigilantes and people who don't care about collateral damage DOES SHEYDA WANT TO BE HIS MENTOR like maybe he's impressed by his dedication to doing a good job and he helps groom him a lil into higher positions also btw if sheyda wants to chew out the 10k year old artemis that would be HILARIOUS please do it, she's sooooo arrogant (in an ice queen way) and a bad team player and she also doesn't give a shit about PR. PLEASE CHEW HER OUT...also she trends justicar like sheyda, she just doesn't get on a pedestal about it. artemis just does her thing man. the only reason she follows mission parameters is bc she doesn't want to look like an incompetent idiot

sheyda if u wanna start our sophia thread then i'm willing to start for artemis!! + SORRY michael doesn't... actually want to be corporate elite he actually has very modest goals about making a living, maybe finding someone nice and settling down, helping people out by championing LAWFUL GOOD. like he can be high up? but he's not groomed into the elite life like sheyda re: he has a very middle class perspective on life, but i want him to be important to the people he works with and like... a Sensible middle ground for hero/civilian drama on gg. also putting his foot down for regular people without mutant powers. but yes feel free to drag him to functions where he's like completely out of his league also this makes me wanna find a romance plot that ends badly just for this to happen RIP i'm as bad as ole
