sheyda i forgot to mention that michael is pro-defenders. it would be funny/tragic/both if sheyda ended up grooming his own rival within the initiative, kind of like jedi/apprentice drama THINK OF THE BETRAYAL once michael grows into his own person with his own sense of justice + ends up butting heads with sheyda when bad shit goes down for the initiative this could be beautiful

Michael x G. Rush I picture them being acquaintances off the bat. They might have passed each other a few times, Rush might have given him trouble before because he doesn't like filling out paperwork and he's super lazy. All in all they haven't really talked much. Rush just isn't the talkative person, until he has something to actually talk about. Serious human sort of question here, "How do you propose to someone you want to marry? And do you think I would get in trouble if I announced it during a PR event?" This former 'villain by association' needs advice, big time. Whether Michael can actually give him realistic advice might be questionable, but he is willing to ask lots.
Random aside, I figure this could start a sort of bond with the two. Rush is a strange individual, but since joining the Initiative he's sort of been a loner, for obvious reasons mostly. His parents were villains, and even though he didn't follow in their path it's safe to say that quite a few people don't trust him all that much. Maybe Michael was scared of him before, and only until now when he asks him such a 'normal' random question he realizes the guy is a total idiot more normal than he looks or lets on. OR perhaps Michael wasn't as scared of him when he joined, gave him a chance, didn't judge him right away. It would instigate more talks with him nonetheless. So long as Michael doesn't shut him down, Jakob would find his 'human' advice fairly interesting and would initiate a sort of friendship with him, if only because sometimes he does need to have a talk with someone but doesn't know who to go to. If any of the other supers bothered him, he'd totes take care of it as well /thumbs up. Let me know what you think. Yeh or neh xP

er...i feel like a lot of this plotter response relies on michael reacting in a certain way. could you tl;dr your idea? without michael's reactions?

michaelFellow dispatcher here! Office funzzies! Yura's only been in the initiative for 3 years (joined in 2013) so while not exactly new, there's still a lot she can learn about the mechanics of the job and the organization in general! Or maybe it might be the other way round?- that Michael notices Yura's rather different outlook on life and becomes curious as to why heroes enjoy her company? I'm up for anything! (I'm pretty new to the site so here's me trying to get a feel of the organization~)

michael has only been working at the initiative for 2 years max. so that would make yura his senior!! he's not exactly prejudiced against superpowered being, i think he's just got a reasonable outlook on the fact that a lot of them are a risk to life and property.
yura pls mentor him!! i'm actually trying to get him to work his way up to dispatcher. michael could probably do with learning about handling the factions and the rivalries, especially since he's just a regular squishy human.
BTW as for the initiative's rivalries/factions, i made a roster here. feel free to add yura! Yura

i'm here as promised but who do i tag......... i'd imagine in this universe that pig and monkey protected two different monks but correct me if i'm wrong? it'd make the meeting part of this a lot easier if they did, but i'm not 100% sure on the details of that. otherwise, i feel like they could literally just run into each other on the streets somewhere and it would be a disaster(potentially hilarious) waiting to happen. if you want a reason for them to meet pig could be....harassing one of monkey's many henchmen for one reason or another? i'm not too sure on those details, but pig would really respect monkey's strength and want to go on some wacky semi-serious crime adventure together. he gets more serious when it comes to actual combat, so there's less of a chance of him ruining everything like he usually does. that's all i've got for the time being..so let me know what you think...

pig i am so sorry there is no excuse for how late i am to this besides "i got a job"
OK BUT.. do u want urban hijinks in kingsport or rural hijinks in lafayette? we could end up w very different hijinks. honestly i am always down for villainous fuckery. the more inconvenience we can cause for the npcs of kingsport, the better. especially if we can set it up as an incident lead-in for some other hero?
