Hey folks! So, this is a plot thread for all things pertaining to The Vacerion Dominion, a budding empire ruled by my boy Aramaeus, A.K.A. The Dread Knight, and his team of elite magitech warriors. Things will be kicking off shortly as the Knights launch an assault on a fictional island in the Gulf of Mexico in an attempt to conquer it and establish a stronghold for their new empire. This will be an ongoing process, and we intend to build up the island into a formidable base of operations, and Dreads will be training both the local populace and other willing volunteers in various roles to serve the Empire. Soldiers will be necessary, of course, and outfitted with the latest magitech armour and weaponry, but the Dominion will also require adminstrative personnel, quartermasters, tech support, farmers, police...You name it, they'll probably need it. So if you would like to join the Dominion, or plot with any of us, drop us a line and we can work something out! For those interested in joining, here's some information that could be useful to you; To give you an idea of how they could look, or perhaps inspire you, I've made an album of inspirational images, so feel free to peruse that at your leisure. Powers are not at all required, as Aramaeus can make magitech generators to power their suits or equipment and enable them to do all sorts of funky things, so normal humans are quite welcome! So long as they are loyal to him and will help him with his vision of a kingdom where justice reigns supreme, they fit the bill! Even if they cannot fight or have any skills, Aramaeus is perfectly capable of teaching them. They're not hard and fast slots to be filled. If you like the idea of one, go for it! But don't feel like you guys have to make one of them to join. |

Possible improvements could be managing to use his superspeed without as much collateral damage silencer, or using magic to transfer some speed to his allies for a certain amount of actions. Or to summon and create steel projectiles?

I was interested in this but it didn't quite fit upon character creation. I think, while my character is currently too silly / aimless to join this group, it could be a possibility in the future when he develops / puts his big boy pants on / findings a burning cause? He's never really had people telling him what to do or even decent parental figures in his life so taking orders would be out of left field for him. Still, I wrote that he acquired a similar magitech suit simply due to being loaded but it would probably work best if he got on Aramaeus' good side and he developed the suit for him.
Trent isn't a malicious villain. He became a villain accidentally, if that helps, and just went along with it. But I wouldn't mind like a thread or two / relationship with this guy to possibly give him purpose at some point and have him join later on in a serious form. |

I was wondering about the magitech part in your bio, amusingly. Dreads does actually sell his lower-grade magitech stuff, though they all come with failsafes so they can't be tampered or retro-engineered. Regarding him getting on Dreads' good side, that..Can be tricky to do, depending on who it is exactly that's trying to get on his good side. He has no time for fools and has much distaste for those that have powers but do not utilise them for something worthwhile. That said, he's got a keen eye for the potential in others, so perhaps he could see something in Muscle Beach that would cause him to interact with him and see what he's made of. Perhaps a sort of, 'Here's my card, call me when you're serious.'
Dreads isn't strictly a malicious villain either, honestly. He's just tired of the way the world is and wants to make it a better place, and has decided that doing so by force is the best route. Maybe down the line MB can come visit the island that the Dominion is going to colonise, and see what they're doing to improve life for the people there, and that could be something that makes him rethink things.
Dreads is quite willing to mentor people, by the way, and it's sort of something he does with those he sees potential in, regardless. Advice, training, tech, whichever. He tends to groom those he thinks will be useful. We can definitely work something out. We can start off with a few threads, see how they work together, and possibly develop into loose allies, and go from there. You can hit me up on Discord or the like, if you want to talk shop. |

This site has a discord server? That's awesome. I wouldn't be averse to popping in there once my throat clears up (I've actually lost my voice, fml), though I don't know the details.
MB would have no intent to tamper with the suit. He's a simple guy. I imagine the suit to be moderate-low in complexity; it doesn't need lasers or auxiliary functions, just to be able to morph in size with him. Is this something that Dreads like, mass-produces? How does he sell his contraptions? It can go through a middle man or if it needs be personalized our first thread can be pretty simple, them meeting up to go over the designations of the suit and utilizing it or smth.
Loose allies and possibly mentor-figure sounds good. Trip down to the Gulf sounds good too, later on. |

He doesn't mass-produce anything, but he manufactures a variety of bespoke items depending on the individual's needs. He does have certain things that he will make a number of, say a batch of low-grade armour for a warlord or some such, but that's about the height of it. As for how he sells them, generally speaking he has a large network of people that work for him or report to him, so if someone puts the word out that they want something magitech, it'll get through the grapvine to him and he'll arrange a meeting, occasionally in person, sometimes via proxy. That sounds like a pretty solid idea for a first meeting! Gives us a good reason to throw them together and jump-off point for future plots. Would you like to start, or shall I? Any preference as to time/place/etc?
