 FRIENDS Brandon's a bit short on friends. After making at least two explosions (not by choice!) in Justice Square and generally being classified as a vigilante, our void wielding son doesn't really have much time to make friends. After all, appearing from a giant hole in the sky which proceeded to utterly WRECK Justice Square, you can bet the Initiative would want Brandon in their grasp and under control.
That said however, there might be some chances for Brandon to properly interact with people. For one, fellow vigilantes that could help hide Brandon from the Initiative, or even help better understand how to use his powers. Cause...well, as of writing this, Brandon has used his shield on pure accident.
Basically I'd love for Brandon to have human friends and vigilante friends. ENEMIES Now, when I talk about enemies here, I'm not just talking about people who'd want to kill Brandon or anything, I'm also talking about general antagonists or just obstacles. In this case, I'm talking about heroes from the Initiative. If you've seen his first thread, then you know damn well that there's probably some type of warrant out for his arrest. One doesn't simply overlook a hole in the sky that pushes out a young man after all.
So what I want for enemies are things like, heroes from the Initiative attempting to hunt him down and take him in. Of course villains are free to encounter, antagonize or even try to corrupt Brandon as they please. LOVES There will be no Can You Feel the Love Tnought memes here, I am sorry. Romance is kinda on the backburner for Brandon but I don't mind some potenial ship ideas! Keep in mind that he is hetero tho. MADE BY ★MEULK OF THQ |

Did you say hero hunting him down? Because here's Senator. Grumpy former mayor turned hero who wants to keep his city safe from super powered punks thinking they can trash his old home. Maybe with time, if they get trough their differences and Brandon establishes he means no harm, Senator can try and help him?

So i was thinking of having this teenager/young adult team cone to brandon on a mssion to help/recruit him - recruit him only if he wants to join since it would be more convenient. This team's a group of vigilante team. Pretty new but they have an experienced leader - this char, shamees - and the international vigilante organization From The Shadows that he also leads. [attr="class","frcon"] [attr="class","rcon"]To start off, Ricki/Keeper puts the people before her affiliation with the Initiative. Even with it being required to bring him in, if she sees that he's just a really confused kid, Ricki is more inclined to try and help him figure things out before she tosses him to her superiors. She is an active teacher and trainer of the super powered kiddies of the Initiative so she's experienced on dealing with this kind of stuff. Along with that, her free time is dedicated to helping villains and some of the more bloodthirsty vigilantes reform and redeem themselves and become more morally good people. So, it's easy to say, she's got no problem with Vigilantes doing their own thing. She'll risk the trouble this'll cause her as she's used to getting in fights with her co-workers and the like for her actions.
Moving on from that, the gist of the potential relationship I imagine is Ricki being something of a parental figure for him maybe. Especially with his issue of neglect from his parents. Maybe it starts out with Brandon's powers going a little haywire again and Ricki comes in to get things back in order - not mentioning the fact she's part of the Initiative as she helps him calm down and get his things in order. They chat normally at first, before Ricki presents the Initiative as an option to help him train and Brandon just NOPE's the fuck out of there. Ricki later on learns about the Initiative wanting him to study his powers and Ricki just "... That explains that." So, potential relationship conflict goooo? Brandon on edge with Ricki and Ricki just trying to help a kid out.

KEEPER I would very much like to try that idea out, so long as Keeper is okay with Brandon being in a group with vigilantes like himself. And LORD KNOWS he needs a mother figure after what his shithead mom did to him. We can have Brandon arguing that the Initiative not only treated him like a criminal but also wants to get inside his head for those fancy Void powers which might even escalate into a full on battle.

The argument sounds like it'll be really interesting, escalating into a full blown battle or not. We can set up the meeting thread for this whenever you're up for it? Brandon is very much the kind of person Dionysus preys on. Brandon longs for companionship and Dionysus can sense that, he's drawn to miserable people and wants to 'help' them turn that misery into power by brainwashing enlightening them. Now, Brandon doesn't have to join the cult or anything but it'd be easy for him to catch the god's eye. Especially if Dionysus were to see the show Brandon gave off he'd most certainly track him down if only to satiate his curiosity. |

Welp, I'm not very sure what to say here, but you were looking for threads, right? I do keep saying that I'm sorta waiting for Brandon and Alice's team to be formed, but that might take a while...
We could have them meet before the group is formed? Although meeting Alice is generally tricky... unless of course Brandon has robot problems and Alice decides to help and they get acquainted because of that. Mrmmm... I keep using that... it's hard to think of a crisis that Alice could help out with, though. Maybe a place with large amounts of electricity she could manipulate, in which case choice of opponent can be not necessarily technological? Although that'll need Brandon to run to somewhere with a high-voltage room or something... power plant might be too much a stretch already...
Maybe after that she can pop up in his cellphone (if he has one?) from time to time to warn him if she's gotten wind of any news about people looking for Brandon. Their acquaintance may even be the reason Brandon gets rescued by the Vigilante team? |

Okay let's dust off the plotter and go one at a time. First off... Dionysus , I apologize but my son is not joining any cults today. However I am all for Dionysus finding Brandon and testing what he can do in a little spar. Nothing serious, nothing that could kill Brandon, just toying with him like an action figure or a doll. Then Electromancer , Brandon meeting up with Alice is going to be a challenge for sure, since she doesn't even have a corporeal form. Honestly I don't see a way they could meet up before the vigilante team is formed, unless you have a more plausible way that they can meet without Brandon having the sudden urge to visit a power plant. |

Yeah Dionysus would wanna screw with him. Superpowered humans are the most fun to mess with. He'd totally try and infiltrate Brandon's mind and figure out ways to exploit his power or just mess with him for funsies. Dionysus also would want to keep an eye on him because Brandon seems like good entertainment. |
